Porsche 911 GT3 RS Manthey Package Now Offered At Porsche...

Ultra-rare Manthey-equipped Porsche 911 GT3 RS joins elite driver coaching program at Barber Motorsports Park. For driving enthusiasts and collectors with a passion for precision performance, few cars command the same reverence as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Now, Porsche Cars North America, Inc. is offering an unprecedented opportunity to experience the 911 GT3 RS equipped with the Manthey Kit at its world-class Porsche Track Experience (PTX) at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. This marks the first time the track-optimized 911 GT3 RS Manthey is being made available in a customer coaching environment – an exclusive addition to Porsche’s most advanced driving programs through spring 2026. For discerning enthusiasts seeking to explore the limits of Porsche engineering with professional instruction, this announcement redefines high-performance driver education in America. “On racetracks, balance is key to performance, whether you are talking about smooth throttle and brake inputs or chassis setup and aerodynamics. The 911 GT3 RS is all about maintaining that balance in highly demanding scenarios where consistent aerodynamic performance is critical to quick laps,” said Cass Whitehead, Chief Instructor at Porsche Track Experience. “The Manthey kit focuses even more on track-based performance than the standard GT3 RS. There aren’t many examples equipped with these kits, so getting to experience the car in both its standard configuration and with Manthey parts is an incredibly special opportunity.” A New Benchmark for Track-Day Supercars Developed in tandem with Porsche’s motorsport division in Weissach and racing experts at Manthey Racing, the Manthey Kit elevates the already formidable GT3 RS into an apex predator among track machines. At 177 mph, the car generates over 2,200 pounds of downforce – a 20 percent increase over the standard GT3 RS – without adding aerodynamic drag. Among the aerodynamic upgrades: • Enlarged front lip and dual dive planes • Optimized Gurney flaps and wide rear diffuser • Enlarged DRS (Drag Reduction System) rear wing with carbon aero discs • Carbon fiber rear window, motorsport-style shark fin, and six roof fins These components collectively enhance grip, stability, and cooling under high-load conditions, pushing the 911 GT3 RS’s performance envelope even further. Performance Engineering to Match Complementing the aero upgrades is a semi-active coilover suspension system tuned specifically for the Manthey package’s added downforce. The setup features: • +30% spring rate in the front • +15% spring rate in the rear • Independently adjustable compression and rebound • Braided steel brake lines for improved pedal feel and braking confidence This engineering allows the GT3 RS to remain composed on Barber Motorsports Park’s 2.38-mile, 16-turn circuit – ideal conditions for high-speed cornering, threshold braking, and data-driven performance refinement. Exclusive Access for Advanced Drivers Access to the Manthey-equipped 911 GT3 RS is limited to Porsche Track Experience’s elite-level driving courses, designed for seasoned drivers and aspiring racers. These courses offer personalized coaching, telemetry analysis, and deep skill development behind the wheel of one of Porsche’s most track-focused models. Program options include: • Masters RS – Three days of advanced skill-building and race craft; completion qualifies drivers to apply for a SCCA Full Competition License. • Masters RSR – A four-day curriculum emphasizing telemetry, car control, and extended track time. • Masters TR – An invitation-only, two-day format that offers maximum seat time for PTX’s most advanced alumni. “PTX has been operating at Barber Motorsports Park since 2003 and has recently announced the expansion to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in 2026,” said Michelle Rainey, Director of Porsche Experience Centers. “Our professional instructors, challenging race circuits, and fleet of 70 various Porsche models create the ultimate experience.” The Next Level of Porsche Performance Education In a world where track experiences have become increasingly curated and exclusive, Porsche’s addition of the Manthey-equipped 911 GT3 RS to its PTX program sets a new standard. With bookings now open and eligibility restricted to the most advanced courses, it presents a rare opportunity to drive a track car that blurs the line between GT and Cup car – all under expert supervision at one of the most scenic road courses in the U.S. For high-net-worth drivers, collectors, and enthusiasts looking to sharpen their driving skills while exploring the outer edge of Porsche engineering, this program is unmatched. Porsche Unveils Next-Gen 911 Cup Car for 2026 Race Season

Porsche is taking its legendary one-make racing legacy a step into the future with the development of an all-new 911 Cup car set to debut in the 2026 season. Based on the refreshed 992.2-generation Porsche 911, the latest iteration has been fine-tuned to deliver sharper performance across its most prestigious racing series, including the Mobil 1 Supercup and Carrera Cup North America. Since the inception of the Porsche Carrera Cup in 1990, followed by the global debut of the Supercup series in 1993, the 911 has formed the foundation of one of motorsport’s most successful customer racing programs. With over 5,381 911-based Cup cars produced to date – including 1,130 examples of the current 992.1 model – the program continues to blend motorsport DNA with Porsche’s hallmark engineering. Development of the next-generation 911 Cup began in January 2024 at Porsche Motorsport in Weissach, Germany. Series production will kick off in fall 2025 at Porsche’s main plant in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, where race cars are built alongside road-going 911 models. Real-world testing took place at iconic tracks including Monza, the Lausitzring, and Porsche’s in-house Weissach development circuit. The engineering team focused on advancing the front-end aerodynamics, electronics, transmission, braking system, and the naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine.  “We are already operating at a very high-performance level with the current GT3 Cup,” said Jan Feldmann, Project Manager for GT racing cars at Porsche Motorsport. “This has allowed us to focus more on feedback from the global one-make cups and develop a racing car that has been refined in many areas compared to the current Cup 911.” Track testing featured top-level drivers, including 2023 Porsche Supercup champion Bastian Buus, FIA Endurance Trophy winner Klaus Bachler, IMSA GTD Pro champion Laurin Heinrich, and veteran Marco Seefried. The new 992.2 Cup car will exclusively run on a cutting-edge eFuel blend, developed for the Porsche Supercup to meet FIA’s Advanced Sustainable Fuel standards. Comprising 79.7% renewable components by volume, including synthetic MtG and waste-based ethanol, the fuel delivers a 66% CO₂ reduction compared to fossil equivalents. As Porsche gears up for this next chapter in its motorsports program, the 2026 911 Cup car represents a powerful synthesis of track-proven engineering and sustainable innovation, reinforcing Porsche’s position as a global leader in high-performance racing. Porsche Design Honors 70 Years of PCA With A Members-Excl...

Porsche has always been more of a community than just a carmaker. Across generations, Porsche owners and enthusiasts have cultivated a culture rooted in respect for the brand's earliest icons while embracing the innovation of its modern models. Whether it's an air-cooled classic or the latest 911 GT3 RS, every Porsche symbolizes a shared passion connecting drivers worldwide. That sense of camaraderie is more apparent than in the Porsche Club of America. For decades, the PCA has served as a second family to thousands of members, celebrating everything from spirited drives to Concours-level preservation. Following the recent debut of Porsche's exclusive 911 Carrera T Club Coupe and its nod to 70 years of PCA, Porsche Design is proud to commemorate the milestone by unveiling the Chronograph 1 - PCA Member Edition. This new timepiece taps into the design DNA of the original 1972 Chronograph I, combining familiar characteristics with modern styling. From the black titanium carbide case and sapphire crystal to the distinctive PCA logo and lettering on the dial, the watch is packed subtle ties to Porsche's rich club culture. Inside, it's driven by the COSC-certified WERK 01.140 caliber. But this release is especially meaningful with its personal touch, as members can customize the case back with their club region name and even add a personal engraving. Launched during this year's Porsche Parade in Oklahoma City, the Chronograph 1 – PCA Member Edition will be available exclusively to PCA members in the U.S. and Canada. With 149 regions across North America, the sense of identity and pride runs deep, and Porsche Designed mirrored that with this release. Each watch comes paired with a titanium bracelet and an extra textile strap in "Club Blau," a vibrant shade that complements the PCA logo. The Chronograph 1 is a wearable emblem honoring the community that has kept the Porsche spirit alive for 70 years and counting. Whether worn during track days, drives, or simply admired as part of a collection, this chronograph marks time with meaning. Shop All Porsche Design Watches Source: Porsche Design

1-of-1 Porsche 911 GT2 RS With Over $92K In Special Wishe...

Unlike any other Porsche GT2 RS you've seen before. In line just behind the 918 Spyder and 911 Turbo S (992), the 911 GT2 RS (991) is recognized as one of Porsche's fastest production cars. Following the lineage of the legendary GT2 and its track-proven recipe of adding forced induction to a portion of Porsche's GT stable, the 991-generation GT2 RS has since aged like a fine wine and continues to skyrocket in popularity among passionate Porsche purists and enthusiasts. And while current market conditions reflect an uprise in demand for these cars, finding a true one-of-a-kind spec proves to be a challenge on its own. Specializing in sourcing and selling some of the most exclusive Porsche examples in existence, the team at M.I.L.D Collection is proud to showcase this 1-of-1 2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS as part of its impressive inventory of exotics for sale on duPont REGISTRY. Pulling from the extensive archives of historic PTS (Paint-to-Sample) colors, this GT2 RS comes from Stuttgart, sporting a non-metallic Brewster Green finish with tons of exposed gloss carbon fiber. The dark green shade highlights the car's aero-focused design, from widened air ducts and louvers that channel air to its massive fixed rear wing that attributes to its impressive downforce figures. Lightweight 20/21-inch magnesium wheels and yellow PCCBs (Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes) give the 911 GT2 RS the perfect performance edge for both spirited road trips and weekend track days. However, the interior configuration makes this Porsche 911 GT2 RS truly unique among the thousands or so produced in 2019. With help from the Sonderwunsch (Special Wishes) program at Porsche, this spec features a $92,250 custom tailoring option that reimagines the GT2 RS' vibrant red Alcantara cabin in a more sophisticated dark green leather. Extending from the dash to the sports steering wheel and into detail areas like the shift nob, the green leather beautifully contrasts with the historic houndstooth inserts on the carbon sports bucket seats. With an interior styled for refinement and comfort and the performance of a track-focused supercar, this Porsche 911 GT2 RS was born to do it all. The Porsche 911 GT2 RS (991) is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six that churns out an impressive 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful GT car ever. Paired with a 7-speed PDK transmission, it sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds and tops out at 211 mph. It also set a Nürburgring lap record for production cars when it launched, and thanks to lightweight construction, aggressive aero, and sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, it's not just fast in a straight line. Two white Porsche 963 race cars, part of a Penske Tribute, drive side by side on a highway with trees and road signs in the background.

1-of-1 Street-Legal Porsche 963 RSP Debuts As Tribute To ...

Porsche has once again redefined what it means to bring a race car to the road, and if you’ve been following our earlier reporting, you’ll remember that we anticipated this: a modern-day homage to Roger Penske and the iconic street-driven Porsche 917 commissioned by Count Rossi, 50 years ago in 1975. Today, that vision comes to life as a 1-of-1 Porsche 963 RSP, making its debut on public roads near Le Mans, France, running alongside the 917 that inspired it. The 963 RSP, where the ‘P’ refers to Roger S Penske, the billionaire Founder and Chairman of Penske Corporation, is a wild Sonderwunsch creation, born from the DNA of Porsche’s Le Mans-conquering 963 Hypercar. It shares the race-winning backbone with the racecar, but wears a unique 917-inspired bodywork, exterior color, and a bespoke cabin with vintage 70s-style touches. At the wheel during its first public outing was none other than three-time Le Mans winner Timo Bernhard.  "We have enjoyed a terrific relationship with Porsche dating back to 1972. The Porsche 917/30, in particular, was one of the greatest eras in Team Penske's history, with numerous wins and championships. With such a remarkable partnership continuing to this day, we felt it was time to create the most exciting car we could imagine. Just like the 917, I wanted this car to be authentic to its origin and have as few changes to it as possible. When we got into the project, the differences in the two generations of race cars provided a great challenge. What emerged is a car that has lost none of its edge and is exciting whether on the track or on the road." - Roger S Penske - Founder and Chairman Penske Corporation The origins of this special car go back to a trackside conversation at Road Atlanta between Porsche’s Timo Resch, Thomas Laudenback, and Urs Kratel. What began as a “What if?” eventually became a full-fledged passion project that took shape with the likes of Porsche AG, Porsche Penske Motorsport, and Porsche Cars North America collaborating on the project.  Exterior highlights include the Martini Silver paint, inspired by Count Rossi’s original 917, the black-silver livery wraps that subtly reworked carbon-fiber/kevlar bodywork, enclosed fender vents, and a clean rear wing sans the blanking plates required from racing, with a vintage enamel Porsche crest on the nose. Because this is a track car for the road, the transformation on the interior is even more dramatic, with luxury and everyday creature comforts making their way into this otherwise sporty cockpit.  There’s a good dose of tan leather and Alcantara, a cup holder (you read that right), a retrimmed steering wheel, a custom stowage panel for a Peltor headset, and a Laptop. Even Roger Penske’s custom helmet has a matching Martini Silver finish.  Mechanically, the Hybrid V8 remains true to its racing roots and is based on the 918 Spyder’s 4.6-liter engine that produces 680 horsepower, with modified hybrid control mapping calibrated for road use. The powertrain control unit was reprogrammed to allow smoother delivery and run on pump gas, a crucial tweak for non-track conditions. Other modifications include an increased ride height to its max setting, the Multimatic DSSV dampers dialed to the softest setting, and reprogrammed lights and turn signals. Michelin rain-spec tires wrapped around 18-inch forged OZ wheels, a horn, and license plates mean that this car is road-legal in France, with the blessing of the French authorities and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), which runs the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The Porsche 963 RSP will be displayed during the upcoming Le Mans weekend before heading to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.  Porsche 963 RSP Specs Engine Displacement 4.6L Engine Configuration Twin-Turbo V8 Hybrid Horsepower ~680 hp (same as race version) Electric System 800V; 1.35 kWh battery Suspension Multimatic DSSV (softened) Tires Michelin Wet Compound, 18" Curb Weight Not disclosed; likely similar to the race car (~1030 kg), with minor road-legal equipment additions Drivability Mods Pump gas capability, road lighting, re-tuned MGU View All Porsches For Sale " width="680"> Source: Porsche

Porsche Debuts The 2025 911 GT3 And 911 GT3 Touring Packa...

The new Porsche 911 GT3 is here! Since its introduction into the automotive world in 1999, the Porsche 911 GT3 has represented the ultimate balance between a weekend track star and a spirited daily driver. With four current generations that showcase its gradual evolution to the upper echelon of all sports cars, Porsche is proud to celebrate the 911 GT3's 25th anniversary by launching its newest model with two new versions simultaneously for the first time ever. Along with new tailor-made packages and innovative options, Porsche presents the new 911 GT3 in a traditional, track-focused variant with a fixed rear wing and a more understated version with a Touring Package. The lifestyle team at Porsche Design has even joined the celebration by releasing an exclusive chronograph for future GT3 owners. The exterior styling of the new Porsche 911 GT3 takes aerodynamics to another level with design updates focused on improving overall airflow and downforce. An updated front diffuser and spoiler lip increase downforce, while teardrop-shaped trailing arms on the front axle improve brake cooling and stability at high speeds. Redesigned LED Matrix headlights with optional white accent rings give the front face a clean, modern look that pays homage to past generations. In the rear, the rear wing and diffuser also improve airflow, guaranteeing a balanced driving experience whether on city streets or on the track. Inside the cabin, Porsche keeps things functional and driver-centric as they have always done with each generation. The GT3 cockpit features an easy-to-read tachometer with a track mode that minimizes distractions by showing key driving data only. Customers can option their chassis with standard bucket seats or 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats Plus, with options like lightweight CFRP shells for serious track enthusiasts. The Touring Package, which ditches the fixed wing for a more understated rear spoiler, now offers rear seats for the first time, adding to its appeal as an everyday driver. Under the hood, the 911 GT3 roars to life with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, producing 502 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque to its rear wheels. With a redline of 9,000 RPM, Porsche's engine channels its illustrious history in motorsports while continuing to meet today's emissions standards. Drivers can select between a seven-speed PDK transmission or a six-speed manual with a shorter final drive for acceleration and control. Magnesium wheels and a lithium-ion battery reduce weight even more, delivering sharp and agile handling. In true Porsche style, buyers of the new 911 GT3 or GT3 Touring Package can celebrate their ownership experience with a matching Porsche Design chronograph. The owner's exclusive watch features a titanium case, a flyback function, and a dial inspired by the GT3’s display panel, bringing a piece of the sports car to the wrist. With an MSRP of $222,500, the new Porsche 911 GT3 models will arrive at U.S. dealerships in the summer of 2025, promising to continue the legacy of Porsche GT cars. New 533HP 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Is The First Hybri...

The first hybrid version of the greatest supercar is here. It goes without saying that the Porsche 911 is undeniably one of the most important sports cars of all time, changing the landscape of the segment 60 years ago and remaining one of the most desirable performance car models in the world today. With incredible versatility as a joyous driving machine, track monster, and even an off-roading champion, the Porsche 911, especially in the latest 992 generation, has shown unparalleled versatility as a performance car. Still, Porsche has introduced yet another fresh and futuristic take on its historic hero: a hybrid powertrain. The new 911 represents the first time that a road going Porsche 911 features a hybrid drive system, and the new, innovative system promises to bring the legendary 911 to the next level of power, efficiency, technology, and futurism. The Carrera features a 388-horsepower 3.0-liter flat-six engine that is twin-turbocharged, with the ability to get from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 183 mph. The silhouette of the new 911 remains largely the same as the original 992 while adopting a more aggressive yet cleaner and more modern look. As the anticipated "T-Hybrid," the Carrera GTS features standard rear-wheel steering and advanced active aerodynamics that retain a subtle look. Its hybrid system features an electric motor at the turbocharger and an electric motor between the transmission and engine, with a compact high-voltage battery that adds minimal weight. The hybrid system is designed to seamlessly pair with the engine to deliver robust but natural-feeling performance. In numbers, the new Carrera GTS boasts 532 horsepower in total, more than the 992 911 GT3 RS. The engine itself develops 478 horsepower. It gets from 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds and reaches 194 mph. On the respected and feared Nürburgring Nordschleife, the hybrid 911 Carrera GTS delivered a lap time 8.7 seconds faster than its predecessor, with performance that felt like a naturally aspirated engine with its power delivery. The new 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera is available in coupe and cabriolet forms, and the Carrera GTS is available as a Coupe, Cabriolet, or a Targa. The Turbo and Turbo S in all of their available body styles will remain available, unchanged from the 2024 model year, as will the GT3 RS. With its first roadgoing hybrid drive system starting at $164,900 for the Carrera GTS, the new 2025 Porsche 911, with a starting MSRP of $120,100 for the Carrera is an incredible evolution of one of the most impactful sports cars ever. Porsche Carrera GT Being Auctioned at Mecum’s Indy 2024 E...

This year’s Mecum Auction (May 10-18) in Indianapolis includes a 2004 Porsche Carrera GT in the sports and luxury cars session at the Indiana Convention Center called Indy 2024. For the car enthusiast and collector, Porsche’s extraordinarily engineered racecar represents the pinnacle of automotive design. This Carrera GT stands out as a particularly special example of a very special car. Of the 1,270 produced between 2003 and 2006, this is one of only 41 completed in Basalt Black for the North American market – one of the single most desirable color combinations for those in the know. With fewer than 8,000 miles since new, it’s also a remarkable testament to the care and attention that it has received throughout its life. Under the bonnet is a 5.7-liter V-10 engine, putting out 605 horsepower, with the Euro-correct font. And it has a six-speed manual gearbox, augmented with a Porsche ceramic composite clutch. All in all, it comes together to create a raw – yet highly refined – driving experience where the feeling between you and the road is about as good as it gets these days. Its Basalt Black exterior shines, and removable carbon fiber roof panels can be stowed to create an open-air experience, intensifying the exhilaration of driving. The interior awash in dark grey leather opens in the heels of occupants to a world of precision and performance interpretation of Porsche’s legendary race heritage: the Porsche 917-style birch/ash wood shift lever knob and XT bucket seats are also rendered in materials and details faithful to the days of the race-proven and proven-ace 917. As an inlay for the cup holders, the tube-formed galvanized magnesium center console lends a taste of racing sophistication to the otherwise performance-only gestures of the interior. Functional meets stylistic form in the Carrera GT’s reinforced cockpit safety like one would find in racing cars. Exposure of the carbon fiber and aluminum in the monocoque and subframe makes for a safe ride and also lightens the car, boosting its responsive feel on the road. Inside, the GT comes equipped with modern comforts such as Porsche Online Pro AM/FM/CD stereo, air conditioning, and xenon headlamps; it has nothing to prove in the age of the Prius. The focus on aerodynamics is as evident as the 8,000 individual rivets: there’s an underfloor ground effect and a rear diffuser optimized for high-speed airflow, which combined with the electronically activated rear wing and pushrod-actuated inboard suspension make a car fly around a track almost as well as it can be driven on a road. This car was and still is a sports car icon. It comes with a complete file and dealer binder from a German car dealer, German language specification page, MOT test certificates, insurance documents, owner’s manual, and service history. The documents validate its authenticity and also make it more collectible. While the nitty gritty of this Porsche Carrera GT auction at Mecum’s Indy 2024 locks in at No Reserve, its appeal to collectors and Porsche enthusiasts goes beyond just owning one of the rarest cars ever produced. The public’s desire to own this Porsche is, in fact, more about being part of history. As with any well-considered dealership, you can opt to purchase a beautifully engineered and crafted automotive masterpiece to have for a while without a thorough-going sense of investment. On the other hand, maybe this Carrera GT is for buyers who see investment as more than just a sale – the thought of driving a Porsche beauty that will likely remain in top condition for decades brings good dreams. Don’t miss making the pinnacle of Porsche’s hands-on high-tech team part of your life as well. View Listing For More Info
