This is a rare color, with less than 10 examples in the U.S. The reason for the color's rare nature is that it adds an additional three months to the production of the car, a time period not many customers are willing to endure.
The reason for the prolonged production is due to the nature of the Carrara White Pearlescent finish itself. This finish has metallic flakes that are much larger than average, making additional clear coats necessary.
