Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Monterey Car Week

By Jordan Aquistapace –  August 18, 2026

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Monterey Car Week

And just like that, another memorable Monterey Car Week comes to a close, and for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, it was a week celebrating art and craftsmanship with the debut of two bespoke commissions. Prior to pulling any covers, it's most definitely worth noting the setting where Rolls-Royce wows its clientele, colleagues, and members of the media: a secluded villa on the Carmel coastline. Overlooking panoramic views of the Pacific, a short chauffeured ride in a Ghost took us to the driveway entrance, where Rolls-Royce’s current lineup was on display, including the Spectre, Cullinan, Ghost, and Phantom. Inside the home, there were subtle cameos from Rolls-Royce’s lifestyle collection, including the $50,000 bespoke chess set released last year. Art pieces from Cyril Kongo were on display throughout the interior, hinting at the creative Cullinan collaboration debuting later in the evening. Entertainment extended from the indoor-outdoor living room, bar, and kitchen to the back, where guests mingled throughout the evening before the big reveals. GALLERY-EMBED The first of the two was the Black Badge Cullinan Series II by Cyril Kongo, a one-of-one commission that immediately stood out. Known for his graffiti-inspired artwork, Kongo covered the Cullinan in a mix of bold colors and expressive hand-painted details that give the SUV a personality of its own. The same artistic treatment continues inside, where bespoke colors, materials, and handcrafted finishes carry the theme through the cabin. Like so many of Rolls-Royce’s commissions, the appeal here comes from the collaboration itself, with Kongo’s artwork meeting the work of the Bespoke Collective in Goodwood to create something that belongs both in an art collection and a garage. GALLERY-EMBED The second reveal took a very different approach. Black Badge Ghost “Golden Era” pays tribute to more than a century of Rolls-Royce V12 engines, using gold as the common thread. Finished in Gold Crystal over Black, the exterior has a subtle sparkle in natural light, while a hand-painted “V12” coachline, gold wakelines, and gold-painted bumper inserts add to the theme. Inside, the story gets even more detailed, with embroidered illustrations of the V12 throughout the cabin, including a first-of-its-kind rear interior panel depicting the engine’s internal design. Microscopic gold flakes are suspended within the lacquer of the Technical Fiber veneer, while gold brightwork, engraved vents, a “Golden Era” Illuminated Fascia, and even a gold-inlaid ashtray continue the theme. Above it all, the Starlight Headliner gets its own collection of gold shooting stars, finishing off a Ghost that manages to celebrate the V12 without losing the understated character. For Rolls-Royce, Monterey Car Week offered insight into just how far Bespoke can go when clients and artists are given the time and freedom to create something truly their own. From Cyril Kongo’s colorful take on the Black Badge Cullinan Series II to the mechanical tribute of the Black Badge Ghost “Golden Era,” the two commissions are a reminder that at Rolls-Royce, the final product is only part of the experience. Rolls-Royce Returns To St. Tropez For The Summer

The French Riviera is home to some of the world’s most beautiful, desirable, and luxurious coastal destinations, and St. Tropez is well known as a place to be in the summer, with some of the world’s favorite beaches and nightlife. This summer, Rolls-Royce is bringing its ultra-luxury vehicle lineup to St. Tropez for the summer season, with what the brand says is its most extensive summer program yet. Rolls-Royce’s presence in St. Tropez seeks to bring Rolls-Royce’s vehicles to the places where its owners and customers already spend their time. Other seasonal experiences from the ultra-luxury manufacturer include one in Courchevel 1850 in the winter, and a presence in Egypt later this summer. Building on the success of previous St. Tropez summer programs, sixteen bespoke Rolls-Royce, including the Black Badge Spectre Series II, will be at some of the most distinguished addresses in St. Tropez: La Réserve Ramatuelle, Airelles Château de la Messardière, Airelles Pan Deï Palais and Nikki Beach. Guests at each destination can choose from Rolls-Royce’s entire portfolio of ultra-luxury vehicles, including the new Black Badge Spectre Series II, which is the most powerful Rolls-Royce yet. Clients can take the new Rolls-Royce lineup for self-driven journeys or chauffeur-driven transport among the Riviera’s beauty. Rolls-Royce St. Tropez presence also includes private events at venues like Airelles Château de la Messardière, Place des Lices, and Airelles Pan Deï Palais. <- Gallery -> The continued presence in St. Tropez during the summer reflects an ongoing history between the manufacturer and the location. A historic icon of luxury and a source of inspiration for any luxury brand, St. Tropez’s neighboring Le Canadel was a favorite destination for Sir Henry Royce, and Le Rossignol served as the inspiration for the recently unveiled Project Nightingale. Rolls-Royce Celebrates Bespoke at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

By Jordan Aquistapace –  July 08, 2026

Rolls-Royce Celebrates Bespoke at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

While the Goodwood Festival of Speed stands out as one of the most prestigious events on the automotive world’s calendar, it also happens to be held within walking distance of the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, making the occasion even more special for the marque. This year, within the Stable Yard, Rolls-Royce is placing a strong emphasis on its bespoke offerings, presenting a fleet of personalized commissions that showcase craftsmanship, material innovation, and design individuality.Set on home soil, Rolls-Royce will also celebrate the UK public debut of the Spectre Series II, which has become both a flagship model for the brand and its grand entry into the growing world of EVs. The example on the grounds of Goodwood comes finished in two-tone Dark Emerald with Black Diamond, with a Mandarin-painted coachline and brake calipers that add a touch of contrast to the exterior. Inside, the interior unveils Placed Perforation for the first time on the Spectre Series II, revealing hidden artwork through precisely placed perforation patterns. The cabin itself is layered in Cashmere Grey and Black as primary tones, with vibrant Mandarin piping pulled from its exterior details.  GALLERY-EMBED The recently revealed Phantom Regatta makes its appearance as a one-of-one commission, inspired by racing yachts of the English south coast and world-renowned regattas like Cowes Week. The exterior is finished in a custom Regatta Blue hue over English White, hand-painted in two-tone to mimic the line where a yacht’s hull meets the water. The interior is designed to portray a yacht under full sail, with deep blue water below and a bright white canvas sail above. The front features Navy Blue leather, while the rear cabin is finished in Grace White, with RR monograms embroidered in Turchese to resemble turquoise inshore water. Piano Milori and Open Pore Royal Walnut yacht-inspired picnic tables took roughly 120 hours to hand-finish. Tying it all together is a one-of-a-kind hand-painted Gallery artwork called Watercolour, created to capture the movement and colors of the open sea. GALLERY-EMBED The latest creation making its grand debut this weekend is the Ghost Savile Row, inspired by London's famous tailoring district. Its exterior is finished in a sophisticated two-tone Midnight Sapphire over English White, inspired by a classic navy suit and crisp white dress shirt, while a Silver Featureline adds a touch of polished cufflinks peeking from under a tailored sleeve. Inside, the theme continues with a mix of Navy, Arctic White, and Selby Grey leather accented by pinstripe-inspired stitching, pocket-square-style seat embroidery, and Open Pore White Wood veneer with Black Wood trim. Hidden beneath the rear armrest is the commission's standout detail, an embroidered artwork requiring 250,000 stitches and over a mile of thread, making it the most intricate single-frame embroidery ever created by Rolls-Royce and a perfect example of its bespoke abilities. GALLERY-EMBED Rounding off the lineup is the Cullinan Bohemian Sunset, inspired by the changing colors of the sky at dusk and executed by designers at the Home of Rolls-Royce. Finished in an Iced Silver Haze exterior, the commission features a vibrant Mandarin coachline and matching wheel-center pinstripes that add just the right amount of contrast. The cabin mirrors the same theme with Seashell leather, bespoke Chevron perforation, and eye-catching Navy and Mandarin embroidery. The highlight is the Starlight Headliner, which gradually transitions from orange to blue to recreate the fading colors of a sunset overhead.  All Rolls-Royce Inventory Source: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Rolls-Royce's New Phantom Regatta Is a One-Off Inspired by the Sea

By Jordan Aquistapace –  July 06, 2026

Rolls-Royce's New Phantom Regatta Is a One-Off Inspired by the Sea

With advancements in all areas of the automotive world, more specifically in the category of one-off configurations, personalizing a car has never been more intimate, especially with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Whether it's a patriotic trio of cars commemorating America’s 250th birthday or a one-of-one commission as a heartfelt tribute to a beloved dog, quite literally anything is possible when you're working with the Goodwood Studio. Rolls-Royce recently revealed the Phantom Regatta as the next addition to its bespoke portfolio, which will make its official public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this week. The one-of-one Phantom Regetta began life as a Phantom Extended before going head over heels into a full commission inspired by the sailing culture along England's southern coast, where famous regattas like Cowes Week have been held for generations. It also pays homage to the area surrounding Goodwood, where Rolls-Royce builds every Phantom today and where co-founder Sir Henry Royce once called home. GALLERY-EMBED The nautical theme carries right into the exterior, finished in a custom Regatta Blue over English White two-tone paint scheme that resembles the point where a yacht's hull meets the water. The polished 22-inch one-piece wheels feature a finish inspired by the polished hardware found on racing yachts.  GALLERY-EMBED Step inside, and the yacht inspiration becomes even more obvious. The front cabin is wrapped in Navy Blue leather, while the rear switches to Grace White, mirroring the blue water beneath bright white sails. Turquoise embroidery adds even more color, but the real highlight is in the woodwork. The rear picnic tables took around 120 hours to complete and were built to reflect the deck of a luxury yacht using carefully matched Royal Walnut with thin Black Bolivar wood inlays.  GALLERY-EMBED Across the dashboard, a hand-painted artwork portrays the movement of the sea, while the Starlight Headliner recreates the swirling tides around the Isle of Wight. Even the air vents hide engraved 50°52'12"N 00°44'24"W and 50°51'13"N 00°44'40"W coordinates pointing to Goodwood, adding one last personal touch.  Making waves at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, no pun intended, the Phantom Regetta will be on display with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars for all in attendance to see. Rolls-Royce Celebrates America's 250th Birthday With Three Bespoke Commissions

By Jordan Aquistapace –  July 02, 2026

Rolls-Royce Celebrates America's 250th Birthday With Three Bespoke Commissions

For over a century, the United States has played a pivotal role in the history of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. It remains the only country outside of England to have ever manufactured Rolls-Royce cars, with its Springfield, Massachusetts, factory producing for American buyers in the early twentieth century. Today, those Springfield-built Rolls-Royce examples have carved out a niche in the collector car world, representing a defining moment in the marque’s history. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars celebrated the 250th anniversary of the United States by unveiling three bespoke builds in the nation’s capital as part of an exclusive event.Led by Sir Christian Turner KCMG, British Ambassador to the United States, at his residence in Washington, D.C., the guest list included leaders from government, diplomacy, and the automotive industry. The real stars of the evening proved to be three exclusively handcrafted commissions hailing from the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, drawing inspiration from the colors of the American flag. The three flagship models chosen to represent Rolls-Royce for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity are the Cullinan, Phantom, and Ghost. The collection includes a Bohemian Red Cullinan, symbolizing the strength, courage, and entrepreneurial spirit that have shaped the country for generations; an English White Phantom, inspired by America's founding ideals, timeless and enduring pursuit of excellence; and an Iguazu Blue Ghost, embodying optimism and the limitless horizons that continue to define the American spirit. Instead of applying patriotic colors, Rolls-Royce took a more thoughtful approach, using personalization to tell the story of the United States through three iconic.   All in all, the celebration honors more than the three one-off examples; it solidifies the connection between America and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. North America remains the marque's largest global market, with more bespoke commissions delivered to American clients than any other region worldwide. Rolls-Royce Honors A 1906 TT Victory With The New Black Badge Ghost Tourist Trophy

By Tyler Rampersaud –  June 17, 2026

Rolls-Royce Unveils New Black Badge Ghost Tourist Trophy

While Rolls-Royce is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated manufacturers in the entire automotive industry, motorsport isn’t typically discussed as one of the brand’s fortes. However, Rolls-Royce does have a racing feat to its name: a victory at the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy, achieved by The Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls in 1906. Today, Rolls-Royce is celebrating the 120th anniversary of that achievement with a new bespoke commission of the Black Badge Ghost, called the Black Badge Ghost Tourist Trophy. In 1906, Charles Rolls and his riding mechanic, Eric Platford, drove a Light 20 H.P. Rolls-Royce in the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy, which consisted of four laps of the Isle of Man course. The route was the Highroads course, shortened to 40.38 miles, and with four laps of racing, speed and precise driving had to be combined with strategic fuel use, endurance, and mechanical reliability. Rolls started the race in fourth and was leading by the end of the first lap. For the final lap, Rolls was ten minutes ahead of the competition and finished the race in four hours and six minutes with an average speed of 39.4 mph. Just over a pint of fuel was left in the car at the end of the race, and the victory was a defining moment in the trajectory of Rolls-Royce as a manufacturer, resulting in the ultra-luxurious and prestigious brand we know today. <- Gallery -> Now, the new Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost Tourist Trophy has been commissioned to honor that car, and as such, it features a Dark Emerald exterior color, with a single Tan Coachline, and a hand-painted number 4 in Arctic White, a reference to the number of laps and Rolls’ starting position. The interior features black leather and Black Badge technical fiber, which is contrasted by tan leather accents and Moccasin lambswool carpeting. The outline of the Isle of Man Short Highroads Course can be seen on the rear waterfall, and other details include engravings of the registration number AX157, the chassis number 26350B, the date of the race, 27.09.1906, and the coordinates of the start/finish line, 54˚09’27.1” N 4°29’ 54.7” W. Illuminated treadplates with the chassis number of the winning car complete the stunning bespoke commission. Created as a private archive, the new Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost Tourist Trophy is a stunning celebration of a historic motorsport victory for Rolls-Royce, showing the impressive diversity of excellence seen within the heritage of one of the world’s most desirable automotive luxury manufacturers. The Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II Arrives With More Power, More Range, And More Personalization

By Jordan Aquistapace –  June 02, 2026

The Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II Has Arrived

Since its debut to the automotive world in 2022, the Rolls-Royce Spectre has established itself as one of the marque's most significant models in its modern era, introducing its first fully electric platform to an already historic lineup. It’s hard to believe that four years of Spectre have already flown by, but with that comes the ability to mark successes and note areas for improvement directly from the source, the customer. And nobody is better at listening and catering to its customer base than the team at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, always striving to engineer and produce its very best for those who drive these cars daily with intent. Welcoming the next chapter of its electric era with open arms, Rolls-Royce has just revealed the Spectre Series II, featuring an array of technical and creative updates to its landmark super-coupé.  GALLERY-EMBED While the Spectre’s performance proves to be plenty of power for anyone behind the wheel, Rolls-Royce still took the opportunity to research new ways to heighten the overall driving experience. The team at its Goodwood headquarters has recalibrated the car’s drivetrain to deliver more immediate power and control through the pedal. Power has been slightly boosted to 592-horsepower, while torque has also risen to an impressive 750 ft-lbs. The Black Badge Spectre Series II offers 670 horsepower in Infinity mode, with Spirited mode summoning 811 lb-ft of torque. A re-engineered battery cell increases potential driving distance by 16% to 308 miles, which has also reduced charging times by 14%. GALLERY-EMBED Rolls-Royce approaches its updates with the belief that each new generation should feel like a natural progression rather than a departure from what came before. The Spectre retains its fastback, super-coupé silhouette for Series II, with key characteristics including signature split headlights and clean surfacing. A new solid exterior finish, named Ethereal Blue, has been developed specifically for the launch of the Spectre Series II. New 23-inch forged multi-spoke wheels have also been revealed, available in partially polished and fully polished, with each taking up to six hours of hand-finishing to complete.  GALLERY-EMBED Inside the new Spectre Series II, Rolls-Royce has pushed personalization and craftsmanship even further with a range of materials and design details. One of the new interior highlights is Duality Twill, a bamboo-derived rayon fabric inspired by the French Riviera and featuring a detailed, embroidered pattern that requires up to 2.6 million stitches to complete. Available options also include artistic perforated leather seating, a high-gloss Brindled Walnut veneer made using repurposed natural materials, and a new Illuminated Fascia featuring more than 8,000 individual lights. Completing the cabin is a redesigned clock inspired by aviation instruments and a newly displayed stainless-steel Spirit of Ecstasy. GALLERY-EMBED For Black Badge Spectre Series II, Rolls-Royce has introduced a number of new design elements that tie into its darker, more aggressive personality. The new Iced Black exterior detailing package is a standout, replacing much of the traditional chrome with a matte finish on the grill surround, door handles, side trim, and even the Spirit of Ecstasy. Complementing the look is a newly open-spoke design wheel option that showcases the massive brake calipers and a polished outer ring that shows off its sheer size. Available for the first time in an Iced Matte Black finish.

Rolls-Royce Just Built Its Most Artistic Cullinan Yet

By Jordan Aquistapace –  May 15, 2026

Rolls-Royce Just Built Its Most Artistic Cullinan Yet

Over the years, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has transformed from an elegant marque with centuries of craftsmanship into a creative powerhouse, giving clients the ability to truly personalize their cars and SUVs, almost like a blank canvas. In addition to offering bespoke paint shades and interior comforts, the brand has also enlisted professional artists to reimagine Rolls-Royce models into rolling works of art. Curated by its Private Offices in Seoul, New York, and Goodwood, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is pleased to debut its latest creative collaboration with French painter and graffiti artist Cyril Kongo, featuring a bespoke, hand-painted Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge as part of a series of five exclusive examples. Instead of stopping at off-catalog paint colors or upgraded trim packages, Rolls-Royce gave Kongo the freedom to completely restyle the interiors by hand. His graffiti-inspired artwork spans across the dashboard, center console, rear seating area, picnic tables, and even the renowned starlight headliner. Every car follows the same overall design theme, but each one gets its own artwork and painted details, making all five completely unique collector cars. The interiors are where the personalities of these Cullinans really shine. Rolls-Royce divided the interiors into various color zones using bright shades like Phoenix Red, Mandarin, Forge Yellow, and Turchese, for a much louder, more vibrant feel than most people typically think of Rolls-Royce. The driver’s seat, passenger seat, and rear seating areas all carry their own contrasting color schemes, while matching stitching, piping, carpets, and embroidered “RR” logos tie the artistic vision together.Overhead, the hand-painted starlight headliner is most definitely the wildest detail of the entire build. The ceiling showcases more than 1,300 fiber-optic lights with Kongo’s artwork, showing off abstract planets, symbols, and references to quantum physics hidden throughout the piece. Rolls-Royce prepped more than 70 paint colors to use during production, with every detail hand-painted directly onto the interior surfaces. Even the placement of the illuminated “stars” was individually mapped out as part of the process.Finished in a dark Blue Crystal over Black, each Cullinan features a new, gradient coachline that shifts colors along the bodyline from front to rear, a first-ever for Rolls-Royce. Matching brake calipers, illuminated tread plates, embroidered details, and hidden Kongo Easter eggs throughout the SUV make this collaboration one of the most creative of all time. These five Cullinans show just how far Rolls-Royce is willing to go to create something nobody else on the road will ever have. Source: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
