Rolls-Royce Unveils Black Badge Cullinan Capella - One-of...

Rolls-Royce took inspiration from a star for their new Black Badge Cullinan Capella, a one-of-one creation. The name 'Capella' comes from a yellow star that's actually the biggest and bright of its kind in our sky. 'Iced Forge' is the name of the striking paint that gives this Cullinan a luminous appearance. Inside, there's the Starlight Headliner that includes a display of shooting stars. And because this is a Black Badge Cullinan, it includes the special wheels with onyx brake calipers and more. Inside, Rolls-Royce matched the exterior with yellowing piping and embroidery that contrasts against the grey and black leather. Our favorite feature of this SUV has to be the two seats that fold out from the tailgate that's called the Viewing Suite. Now that would be an awesome place to watch the stars. Rolls-Royce Clean Room Behind the Scenes

After a long day in the office, you mind might wander around the interior. The passenger side of the dashboard has been an afterthought until the release of the latest Rolls-Royce Phantom for sale. That is because before your car begins production, skilled artisans create your gallery. 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII Specs, Price, Photos, & Review The horizontal expanse that separates the upper and lower dash is a blank canvas. We have seen all species of hardwood, not veneers, blocks of wood carved by master carpenters. Other examples include the DNA sequences of a husband and wife etched into a billet of aluminum. If you can dream it, they can build it. Such precision requires a clean room with ionized air kept at a slightly positive pressure. In theory, you could probably order machined plutonium for the ultimate in ambient interior lighting. What it Takes to Build a Rolls-Royce: 90 Pairs of Hands

In a world where robots are creating and building the cars we drive, Rolls-Royce creates perfection with their own hands. Each Rolls-Royce motor car is built thanks to 90 different pairs of hands. Each of these hands has a different task, whether it be the upholstery, body or even the placement of jewels. In total, it takes around 600 hours to create each of the cars, but every minute that it takes is worth it. In the most recent episode of "Inspiring Greatness" by Rolls-Royce, they highlight those that build each of their vehicles. It's an inspiring watch that you should definitely check out. While you're at it, also go to their YouTube channel to see the other two episodes as well. All Rolls-Royce for Sale " width="680">

Rolls-Royce Celebrates 116th-Anniversary

You may not have known it, but Rolls-Royce is actually over a century old, 116-years-old to be exact. It was on May 4, 1904 that the founders The Hon Charles Rolls and Henry Royce had their very first meeting together at the Midland Hotel in Manchester. After the meeting, Rolls said of Royce: "I have met the greatest engineer in the World." Now, 116 years later, Rolls-Royce is as popular and strong as ever, creating the World's most luxurious cars out of their Goodwood-based manufacturing plant. Speaking of manufacturing, this date also marks Rolls-Royce restarting production in Goodwood after the suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars said: “We are living through historic times. Our primary focus is, of course, on safely resuming production at The Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex; but in marking this amazing anniversary, we are taking a moment to reflect on what 116 years have taught us.” Having been around for such a long time, Rolls-Royce has weathered many storms. It seems the global pandemic of Covid-19 was certainly not going to put a stop to their strong presence in the world of luxury automobiles. Rolls-Royce Posts Record Production of... Honey!

Even though Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is dealing with their car manufacturing being suspended, one aspect of the company's production line is still hard at work. The company's bee apiary has finished their third full season of production and they're looking at exceeding their 2020 volume targets for the prestigious Rolls-Royce honey. Yes, Rolls-Royce has their own honey, which is produced at Goodwood, West Sussex, the automaker's home. Their six beehives have familiar names: ‘Phantom’, ‘Wraith’, ‘Ghost’, ‘Dawn’, ‘Cullinan’ and ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’. After the honey is processed out of each of these beehives by local specialists, it is then served to guests of Rolls-Royce. This honey that Rolls-Royce produces may just be the most exclusive honey out there! “The Apiary further underlines our commitment to the environment, which informs everything we do at Goodwood,” says Richard Carter, Director of Global Communications at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “Our sustainable buildings, thermal ponds, rainwater management systems and wildfowl refuge have already made the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood one of the UK’s most eco-friendly manufacturing facilities. Through this project, which taps into the biodiversity of our site, including our huge living roof, we’re making an important contribution to conserving Britain’s vital bee population.” All Rolls-Royces for Sale Source: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Rolls-Royce Releases "Inspiring Greatness Episode 1" With...

Rolls-Royce has just released the first episode of their "Inspiring Greatness" series, featuring Refik Anadol. Anadol was actually part of the recent "MUSE, The Rolls-Royce Art Programme." His most recent digital artwork is entitled Art of Perfection: Data Painting. The artwork was originally debuted during Frieze Los Angeles earlier this year. It's truly an inspiring piece of art and hearing Anadol describe his thought process regarding the creation of his digital artwork in the video below is quite eye-opening. 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud James Young For Sale

In the classic age of luxury motoring, you bought a chassis and then sent it to a coachbuilder. These master craftspeople would build your car to order, any almost anything was possible. Back in the late '50s, the big players were H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward, Jensen, and Tickford just to name a few. They became famous for elegant builds that were sold to royalty and business magnates around the world. However, the truly talented builders only accepted a few commissions a year. Such was the case with James Young. Based in London, they only built two examples of the 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, and this one is for sale. Starting with a hand-built aluminum body, it was loaded with St. James red leather, burled walnut, power steering, windows, and Air Conditioning. Because it was left-hand drive, this is a truly unique masterpiece. It was built to U.S. specs because it was ordered by Hollywood Producer William Goetz, the founder of 20th Century Fox. Knowing the significance of this car, each owner has fully documented history of awards and a concours-quality restoration. Invited to Pebble Beach in 2004 and 2015, it won 3rd place. Included are the original order documents, and even blueprints used to assemble it. This opportunity will not come your way again. So click the button below for all the details and stay with us for more amazing collector cars. View Price & Details
