Up Close and Personal: The Lamborghini Huracan Performante

Lamborghini Newport Beach has had some fun with the new Lamborghini Huracan Performante. In the darkness, the dealership recorded some incredibly detailed footage of the new Italian supercar. In the video, you'll see the car like never before. You'll also be able to hear the car rev up, allowing you to hear just how powerful this car truly is.The new Huracan Performante is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that has been modified and now creates 640 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. This power and a suite of active aero components grant the car a 0-60 mph time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of over 202 mph. The exhaust that you'll be hearing in the video is all new from Lamborghini, with tuned runners exiting higher up than before. This allows 70% of maximum torque by 1,000 rpm.View Dealer InventoryView All Lamborghini News, Article and Videos

Lamborghini Aventador Races Huracan to Prove Which is Fas...

Lamborghini has two main models available right now, the Huracan and Aventador, not including their variants like the SuperVeloce or Performante. The Aventador sits above the Huracan in terms of power and price, but the Huracan is most definitely no slouch.Powering the Aventador is a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 690 horsepower and 507 lb-ft of torque. With all-wheel drive at the ready, this supercar will run 0-62 mph in just 3.0 seconds. As for the Huracan, it's powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine that's good for 601 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The Huracan also has an all-wheel drive setup, but will complete the 0-62 mph run in 3.2 seconds. To test these two models, GTBOARD.com pitted an Aventador Roadster against a Huracan coupe on a private drag strip. The two cars lined up against each other and took off from a roll-start. Click play below to see which Lamborghini comes out on top.Lamborghini For Sale - duPont REGISTRY

Lamborghini Huracan Performante Revving, Blows Our Minds

The new Lamborghini Huracan Performante was only introduced into the world in the beginning of March, but it's already made waves in the automotive industry. One of its greatest feats so far has to be its record-breaking Nurburgring lap time that has many scratching their heads as to how it was possible. However, Lamborghini has come out and stated that they did not cheat during the lap tap and have all the data available.Something else that the Huracan Performante will be known for is its fantastic sound. The Italian supercar's 5.2-liter V10 pumps the sound of its power out of an all-new exhaust system, making for a raw automotive performance. This new exhaust has tuned runners that exit higher up than the base model, allowing for maximum torque at just 1,000 rpm. You can hear it for yourself by clicking the play button below. All Lamborghini For Sale

Is This the World's Fastest Lamborghini Huracan?

There are a few set cars that tuners work with specifically for the drag strip. When it comes to Lamborghinis, the Huracan is the supercar of choice. Gosha Turbo Tech in Abu Dhabi has a Huracan of their own that they've been modifying for faster-than-heck drag strip runs and it was just unleashed on the Yas Marina Drag Strip.Related - The True Difference the Lamborghini Huracan's Launch Control MakesThe specifics of what's in this car's engine are unknown, but a pair of turbochargers do peek out from the rear of the car. Altogether, the car has 1,026 hp on tap, which was enough power for a 1/4 mile run of 8.65 seconds @ 161 mph. You can check out this run in the video below (the video is quite long, so if you just want to see this specific run, skip to the end).Lamborghini Huracan For Sale

And though many weren't able to inject their cars with nitrous oxide back in the day, they were able to do it virtually through Need for Speed: Underground.(See More FL2K Videos)But for those who have had the chance to drive a car that gets a little extra pep via nitrous shots know that they can throw you back into your seat. 650 hp Porsche 911 Turbo S vs 800 hp Lamborghini Huracan

In the same woods that saw the defeat of Napoleon and Hitler's armies, Dragtimes has built a world-class racing facility near Moscow. Since it is probably the best drag strip in Europe, it attracts some of the best heads up racing we have seen. First is a modified Huracan owned by Andrey A. Tuned by Morendi, it's rated at 800 hp and starts with a bye run.(Also Check Out - Pure Supercar Drag Races: Bugatti Veyron, Carrera GT and More)His opponent is Dmitry in a 650 hp Porsche Turbo S with modifications by Altechno, another Russian aftermarket shop. Both cars are all-wheel drive, so in theory this should be a close race. Russia currently claims 1/8th of our planet's inhabitable land, so their races don't stop at 1,320 feet. Racing to the half-mile, aerodynamics and engine size are the main variables above 200 mph.Porsche For Sale DallasWho do you think should have won?
