Insanely Fast Bugatti Veyron Vitesse WRC Donuts

When you have to pay around $30,000 to replace the tires for your Bugatti Veyron, you're going to want to get every ounce of rubber out of them. At least the owner of this Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse WRC Edition wanted to use up his tires before they were replaced. In a video uploaded by Gumbal, the Veyron owner decided to shred his tires before his new ones were fitted. How did he do it? By performing some incredibly fast donuts and burning all of that precious rubber. To give you an idea of what's taking place, this special edition Veyron was created in celebration of the record-breaking Vitesse that hits 254.04 mph. It's an incredibly rare car that is capable of pushing 1,200 hp through all four of its wheels. These might just be the most expensive donuts you'll ever see.Bugatti Veyrons For Sale

Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 Shows Ferrari How Snow-Donuts A...

The snow can be quite unforgivable, especially to supercars and sports cars alike. Fortunately, for those who like faster cars four-wheel drive exists, which makes driving through the snow just a tad easier-- even in supercars. In this video, we see the Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 show off its four-wheel drive system in a couple of snowy lots. During the video, we see the Diablo spin its tires and perform some donuts, all the while holding some sort of traction. On the other hand, the video shows a Ferrari 355 demonstrate why rear-wheel drive can be so bothersome in the snow. But you don't really need a video to know that. That being said, it's still entertaining to watch. Check out the video below to see the classic Lamborghini in action. Lamborghini Diablos For Sale

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Rips Up Qatar Highway

Every so often Lamborghini releases a special edition model that breaks away from the norms of their current lineup. Back in 2010, they introduced the Sesto Elemento. Its name was inspired by the massive amount of carbon fiber used throughout the car. "Sesto" is Italian for sixth, and "elemento" is Italian for...element. And, if you look at carbon on the periodic table, you'll see that it's the sixth element.Only a proposed 20 examples of the Sesto Elemento were made, which makes this video that much more special. On the streets of Qatar, a Sesto Elemento put its 5.2-liter V10 engine to work, blasting down the road at some serious speeds. Even though you most likely don't own one of these rare Lamborghinis, it's my responsibility to tell my readers to not attempt to hit speeds like this on a public road and to always follow your local traffic laws. Now that that's out of the way, click play on the button below to see one of the world's rarest and most exotic cars show flex its automotive muscles.Lamborghinis For Sale

Jay Leno Admits He Was Wrong About the Jaguar XJ220

Back in 1988, Jaguar showed off a concept known as the the XJ220, a V12-powered supercar that would be produced in a limited number. After a positive reception, the car was put into production, and the production version was revealed in 1991. Unfortunately, to the dismay of many, the V12 powerhouse was dropped for a twin-turbo V6 setup.Jaguar was disappointed by the sales of their new supercar, which was produced only 275 times, despite it being one of the fastest cars of its time. Along with the automaker themselves being disappointed, so was Jay Leno.In his latest video from Jay Leno's Garage, he had the chance to drive the XJ220 for the first time. In the beginning of the video he talks about how he and others were not buying into Jaguar's supercar. However, by the end of the video he's giving the XJ220 only positive praise saying he was wrong about the car. Check out the video below to see what makes him change his mind.Jaguars For Sale

Tesla Model S vs Model X Ludicrous Mode Drag Race

Ever wondered which Tesla vehicle would win in a drag race? Drag Times driver, Brooks, did as well and decided to put the two models to the test. They took a 2016 Tesla Model X P90D Ludicrous in Deep Blue Metallic and a 2015 Tesla Model S P90D Ludicrous out to the track to see how the cars would perform against each other. To make the race more interesting, Brooks had his wife behind the wheel of the Model X, and she's never drag raced before. What they discovered through a series of runs though, was pretty amazing. First and foremost, the races showed that the Model X might have set the record for the fastest electric SUV quarter mile, which would place the Model X in the top of its class. The races were incredibly close-- the Model S won by just .19 of a second in the race where both vehicles had an equal start-- but weight difference (the Model X comes in around 600 lbs heavier than the Model S) shows that the Model X pushes more power than the Model S even though both vehicles are equipped with the same powertrain with dual motors.Check out the series of races below and see how the Model X performed against the Model S.Teslas For Sale

Twin-Turbo LS1 Lamborghini Jalpa Drag Race is Brutal

In the 80's, Lamborghini introduced the Jalpa. This new sports car, created only 410 times, was designed to be more affordable than the Countach of the time, as well as easier to drive. It came with a 3.5-liter V8 engine that produced 255 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque, making it a formidable sports car, but no race car. Enter Jim, the owner of a Jalpa and a man who wanted more out of his 80's sports car. Naturally, he fitted the car with a GM LS1 engine, mated with a supercharger. While this powertrain was allowing the car to run a quarter-mile in 9.7 seconds at 137 mph, it was putting too much pressure on the custom-built Toyota Camry transaxle. So he replaced the supercharger with a pair of Ford XR6 Garrett turbochargers. With this setup, the Jalpa was getting 690 hp sent to its wheels. YouTube channel Fullboost was on hand to see Jim's first time out with his newly modified twin-turbo Jalpa and filmed the runs. You can check out the video below. What do you think about a swap in a car like the Jalpa? Is that automotive blasphemy or ingenuity? Let us know in the comments below. Lamborghinis For Sale

Astro Van Races Lamborghini Gallardo, Shocks The Crowd

You won't find a Chevrolet Astro van among the Ferraris, Lamborghinis and exotic cars we have for sale on duPontREGISTRY.com. But, a Gallardo did find one lined up against it during a drag race. Now, I have no idea what's underneath the Gallardo or the van, but I can tell you that there is some witchcraft under the latter's hood. For comparison's sake, the Gallardo is powered by a V10 engine, while the Astro has a V6 providing power. It goes without saying that the Italian sports car comes with much more of a punch than the van. But, whatever the owner of this van did, whether it be an engine swap or the aforementioned witchcraft, it worked. Check out the video below to see the incredible drag race and resulting times of each car.Lamborghini Gallardo For Sale

Fastest Mobility Scooter in the World Hits 107 MPH, Break...

I live in Florida. There are quite a few things that come to people's minds when they think of this state, including older folks and said folks driving slow. But, if these folks, and everyone else in the state, drove the scooter in the video below, we'd be known for being one of the fastest moving states in the country.David Anderson and Mathew Hine decided to take a take a mobility scooter and turn it into an absolute drag racing monster. They installed a Suzuki 600cc Bandit engine, as well as some go-kart wheels, in order to have the scooter rocket to 107.6 mph in a quarter mile. This smashed the previous record of 82.67 mph, set by Klaus Nissen Petersen in 2012.Check out the video below to see super scooter in action. Looking for a supercar to race this super scooter? Lamborghini Gallardo Performante Goes Swimming in Lake

With four wheels meant to roll on the ground, it's common knowledge that sports cars and supercars are meant to be driven on the road. But, sometimes, some people want a change of pace.Case in point, this Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Performante driver. He decided to take his supercar down to Lake Bonneville in Utah for a swim in the lake. It seems that a photo shoot was taking place and the drifting of the Gallardo was done for the photos.Being in Lake Bonneville, I can assume that the lake the car was driving in was quite salty, which could do extensive damage to a car, but thankfully they took the cars to a self-serve car wash immediately after for extensive car washes. It seems that this wasn't the first Lamborghini to go swimming. In fact, during the intense floods of California about a month ago, another Lamborghini Gallardo was seen driving through deep waters on the road. What do you guys think about these Lamborghini in the water? Blasphemy or just owners having fun?Lamborghini Gallardo For Sale
