Forgotten Exotic: Lamborghini Jalpa Goes Flat Out

Since Lamborghini's founding back in 1963, they have created many different models that have been the subject of dreams and ambitions. Many can name the Aventador, Countach, Diablo, Huracan, LM002, Miura and Murcielago quickly, but there are a few models that are a bit more unknown than others. Top 5 Lamborghini Concept Cars Take the Jalpa, for example. This sports car was produced from 1981 to 1988, with a total of 410 examples being created. As appearances go, it looks like a smaller take on the Countach with a hint of a De Tomaso Pantera. Hagerty recently took a 1985 Jalpa out for a spin. Well, it was actually former racing driver and Audi Club of North America president Mike Fisher that took the car out for some laps. The sound of the V8 engine as Fisher slams through the gears is that of a naturally-aspirated dream. Hear it for yourself by clicking play below.

Two Lamborghinis Spin Out at 200 mph During Race

During the Texas International event, two Lamborghinis spun out during their runs at incredibly high speeds. A vast majority of the world wasn't on hand to witness the spinouts, but 1320video was on hand to capture the insane action. The first spinout was done by a Gallardo and that one starts in the video below at " title="YouTube video" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen>. The second spinout involved a Huracan racing against a Nissan GT-R. Positioned in the left lane, the Huracan thankfully did not spin out into its opponent. This spinout starts at " title="YouTube video" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen>. After each crash, emergency personnel was called upon, but thankfully nobody was injured. Check out the entire event below.

He Bought a Lamborghini With $115 in Bitcoin Money

Imagine buying Bitcoin back when it was just over $2, forgetting about it, and then selling some so you can buy a new Lamborghini. Well, that's precisely what happened to Peter Saddington of VINwiki. After sitting on a trove of Bitcoin, he decided he would be what he claims is the first person to buy a Lamborghini with his cryptocurrency. After finding a Lamborghini Huracan that caught his eyes in duPont REGISTRY, he went to the dealership and made the deal. After all was said and done, it only cost him $115 of his original investment.First Lamborghini Centenario For Sale in the US

Gamer Turns Real Lamborghini into Racing Simulator

If you're a gamer, there's nothing more exciting than picking up the game you've been waiting for, racing home, unwrapping the case and popping the game in (and the inevitable install of game files). For Instagram user @pogforever, when he got home with his new copy of Forza Motorsport 7, he hopped into his controller instead of picking it up.Lamborghini Huracan Performante vs McLaren 720SIn a video uploaded to Facebook, he showcases his Lamborghini Aventador that was turned into the most epic driving simulator we've seen thus far. When he turns the wheel on the real Lamborghini, the virtual Lamborghini mimics the movements. Yeah, it may be the most expensive driving simulator out there, but it sure is the coolest.Lamborghini Centenario For Salehttps://www.facebook.com/pogforever/videos/2016953438526304/

Huracan Performante

Motor Trend Tests Lamborghini Huracan Performante at Imola

After a few minutes behind the wheel, you know the Huracan is destined for greatness. As the successor to the Gallardo, it has even cast a shadow on the abilities of the Aventador. That's because the Huracan Performante is the fastest production car for sale. It beat the Porsche 918 Spyder's Nurburgring lap time by almost 5 seconds thanks to innovative aerodynamics. We don't know how Audi & Lamborghini always find more power in their naturally aspirated 5.2 liter V10, and we'll cover its evolution later this week. The 2003 Gallardo arrived with a 5.0 liter V10 rated at 493 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. The 2018 Huracan Performante has 631 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque without any turbos or a supercharger. Also Check Out: Lamborghini Huracan Specs, Reviews & PhotosThe Audi R8 and the Lamborghini Huracan are fraternal twins, each one is always trying to outperform the other. Both teams learn from each other, but this time the Italians played their cards close to the chest. Developing and patenting a new way to control downforce, the patented ALA system uses active air ducts front and rear to keep it glued to the track. The front system constantly divides air between going up through the cooling system or down to the belly pan. On the rear is a big spoiler of forged carbon. It is hollow and features vents under the leading edge. High-pressure air that is sucked into the quarter panels is shot out of the spoiler to kill the low-pressure turbulence that forms behind every car. Like drafting on a superspeedway, it allows the Performante to cut a cleaner path through the air. If you think you can handle it, we have a nice selection of Huracan for sale, so stay with us for all your Lamborghini updates. https://blog.dupontregistry.com/ecbg-2018/2018-lamborghini-huracan-performante-price-specs-review/

Lamborghini vs Nissan GT-R Drift Battle Will Leave You Br...

Hey, here's a video of a Lamborghini Murcielago being drifted by Daigo Saito going up against a Nissan GT-R being drifted by Steve "Baggsy" Biagioni. This post could just have that one sentence and it should be enough to draw anybody to click play on the video below, because... come on, this is incredible. On one hand, you have Daigo's Murcielago, which has been heavily modified. Powering the Lamborghini drift car is the same 6.5-liter V12 engine it was produced with, but it has had its interior gutted and steering heavily modified for getting sideways. When Daigo is behind the wheel, going full throttle, it really is like watching an artist create their masterpiece. Click play below to see it for yourself. Also, keep an eye out for the special visitor that joins the pair!

Huracan Lady Top Speed

Pink Twin-Turbo Lamborghini Huracan 1/2 Mile World Record

Racing tends to be a male dominated sport. That's why the ladies half-mile speed record needed to be broken. Rising to the challenge was Team OB Prestige, who drove all the way from Quebec. Pike's Peak Airstrip Attack is a Shift Sector event that took place last month in Colorado. At an altitude of 6,187 feet above sea level, naturally aspirated cars are at a loss due to the lack of oxygen. So that's why most of the competitors were either turbocharged or supercharged. Still can't believe what just happened!!! I did my personal best AND it just happens to be the new women's world record with @obprestigeauto SEXY built by @heffnerperformance !!!! Thank you so much @mlpaquinpointcom for being my instructor!! Thank you @shifts3ctor @ego_mtl @paulyprestige @autoralph @xpozemtl @nadia_xpoze @pierrespirit @bouladier.max @dedebrass @lafrancenancy @laloca254 @lamborghinimtl A post shared by Maude Bouladier (@mbouladier) on Jun 18, 2017 at 3:30pm PDT OB Prestige is a luxury dealership located in Gatineau, Quebec, and their team runs a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan wrapped in pink chrome vinyl. Power comes from our local heroes at Heffner Performance. The twin-turbo V10 makes more power than most clutches can hold, so it takes a skilled driver to prevent a deep fried transmission. In order to understand how to push a supercar beyond 200 mph, Maude Bouladier took a few practice runs while riding shotgun with OB's drivers. When the time came, she was hoping to beat the existing record of 205 mph, and she was happy to learn she smashed it by reaching 210 mph. Never missing a top speed event, the 1320Video team was there to capture the action. The results speak for themselves, so if you are a lady in need of speed, we have several new & pre-owned Huracans to choose from. Stay with us for more fast females in action, and all your 1/2 mile racing updates.

Lamborghini Urus SuperSUV Spied Opening Up Throttle, Soun...

A quick look around Lamborghini's models will show you that they're not really fans of turbocharging and opt for power of the naturally aspirated kind. However, the upcoming Urus super SUV will feature a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine. Yes, Lamborghini will be mass producing a turbocharged vehicle, which will be their second SUV after the LM002. Some be worried about the how quick or loud the Urus will be, but thankfully we have some spy footage of the SUV being tested at Nurburgring that will quell your suspicions. In the video, found below, we hear the Urus' engine being pushed quite hard around some easy corners. Sure, the engine may only be a V8 (when compared the Huracan's V10 and Aventador's V12), it still sounds fantastic. However, I'll hold my final reservations about the car until its fully revealed in the near future.

LB Huracan Spyder

LibertyWalk Lamborghini Huracan and Aventador Sound Angry

If you have grown tired of the looks and sounds of your Lamborghini, its time to unchoke the angry bull. Monaco has strict noise laws to preserve the peace for its wealthy residents. But that doesn't stop us crazy gearheads from enjoying aftermarket exhaust. Gumbal was on the street when a duo of Liberty Walk Lamborghinis arrived. Known for taking supercars to the next level, Liberty Walk exaggerates the original styling in order to fit wider rubber and also to capture the attention of everyone in a 5-mile radius. The LB Performance Aventador Roadster has a rear spoiler that could span the Mississippi, and it would make a Viper ACR ashamed on the track. In stock form, the new Huracan Spyder arrives with 245/30/20 tires up front and 305/30/20 on the rear. While they may be perfectly suited to stock power levels, more meat is needed when the dial is turned up. A free flowing exhaust is the best way to make power on a naturally aspirated engine. Vellano wheels are also a nice touch if you are in the market for monoblocks. Tell us which car sounds better and which one wins the beauty contest. Stay with us for all your Lamborghini footage and have a great weekend!
