At this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, Corvette Racing's team dominated at the podium with their C7.R, and thanks to B.R.M.'s collaboration with the American racing team, you can wear an homage to that victory on your wrist.
The 2016 Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition pays homage to the Corvette Racing race cars. Offered in coupe and convertible models, only 500 will be built – each with a unique, sequential VIN.
First introduced before the races, on June 10 in a press release, the Chevrolet Corvette C7.R Racing watch collection is a limited series of just 424 timepieces in total. There are three different designs within the series, and in an image posted to BRM Chronographes Americas' Facebook page July 9, we can see each design, as well as pricing.
Within the Corvette racing collection, the V12-44-COR-03-E design specifically honors the Le Mans, and is offered in two series to reflect the dual C7.R track cars used. Priced at $10,750 per timepiece, each series of the 24H Series watch will only have 24 examples created. The other two designs will have 100 examples each in a yello and black or grey and black combination, and prices range from $4,370 for the V6-44-COR-05, to $8,550 for the V12-44-COR-01.
