Ferrari F1 Driver Charles Leclerc Robbed Of His $320,000 ...

The watch was off Charles' wrist before he could notice. As the luxury watch market continues its unforeseeable rise, it, unfortunately, draws the attention of individuals looking to cash in on criminal opportunities to steal watches. Being one of the most popular brands in the industry, Richard Mille is a target for thieves trying to get their hands on a six-figure limited-edition retail piece. Scuderia Ferrari F1 team racing driver Charles Leclerc is now in the news after his Richard Mille 67-02 was stolen off his wrist on Monday, during a night out in the Tuscan city of Viareggio. MUST-READ: Richard Mille Unveils The New RM 67-02 Charles Leclerc The $320,000 Richard Mille 67-02 caught the attention of the thief during a busy moment when Charles Leclerc was recognized by a group of fans wanting photos with the winning F1 driver. After the unfortunate series of events, Charles filed a police report with local authorities that will continue to investigate the robbery. Alongside Charles Leclerc, McLaren F1 team driver Lando Norris was also the victim of a luxury watch robbery after his Richard Mille prototype watch was stolen last year while he was spectating an event at Wembley Stadium. Although the thieves made away with both F1 drivers’ limited-edition Richard Mille models, the important thing to remember is that no one was harmed during either altercation.
