Bugatti 3D Prints Titanium With 0.1mm Accuracy

Bugatti Bolide 4

To meet the demands of their Bolide concept car, Bugatti 3D prints titanium with 0.1mm accuracy. Their latest press release details how the suspension pushrods weigh 100 grams and easily handles 3.5 tons in tension or compression. Modeled after the hollow bones inside the wings of a bird, the wall thickness is only 0.4mm. The world’s first series-production 3D printed metal component is the transmission cooling pump on the Chiron, and it followed the world’s largest printed titanium component, a 1-piece brake caliper. This attention to detail is just one way Bugatti builds amazing hypercars. Also, our friends at Wires Only just sold a stunning Veyron to Anuel
