Each of the panels is crafted out of what Bugatti is calling a "newly developed laminated structure with thin glass and four intermediate layers." If you're concerned about additional road noise because of glass being used instead of a standard roof, Bugatti said that wind noise is reduced. Bugatti also notes that infrared radiation is reflected away by the panels and ultraviolet radiation is filtered out thanks to the tinting of the glass.

Another little note that should be mentioned is that the Sky View roof adds an additional 1.06 inches of headroom. If you're a tall person looking for some more space, this may help.
