The commemorative spec makes its debut at the iconic race circuit of Monaco.
Being a hypercar brand that manufactures chassis in limited quantities for an exclusive community of owners, Bugatti is able to incorporate visions and historic inspiration behind its model configurations. One of Bugatti’s most recent builds takes on a commemorative livery that pays homage to the man whose name is forever engraved into its DNA, legendary Monegasque racing driver Louis Chiron. Bugatti is proud to present the Chiron Pur Sport ‘Grand Prix’ in honor of Louis, a commission by Bugatti’s Sur Mesure program.

The scenery is set on Route de la Piscine as part of the Monaco Grand Prix track, a circuit where Louis Chiron established a name for himself. The narrow city streets still hold the memories of when he drove his Bugatti Type 51 to victory during the 1931 Monaco Grand Prix. The exterior of the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport ‘Grand Prix’ features a light blue livery with vibrant red accents that showcase the iconic curvature of Bugatti’s body design. The spec also includes a #32 on each door panel that represents Louis Chiron’s racing number. Inside, the driver-oriented layout keeps a minimal feel with premium black leather and red contrast stitching to match the outside of the multi-million dollar hypercar. Adding a historic touch to the build, Bugatti stitched the #32 racing number into the headrest of each sport-style seat. Along with unveiling the magnificent configuration, Bugatti also pays its respects to the racing legend by visiting the sculpture of Louis Chiron at the waterfront of Monaco.
