Cadillac expands its electric luxury SUV range again.
Cadillac entered the arena of all-electric luxury vehicles with the debut of its Lyriq model, and since then, the historic American luxury manufacturer has revealed a burgeoning lineup of luxury SUVs, including an all-electric version of Cadillac’s legendary full-size luxury SUV: the Escalade. Named the Escalade IQ, the new all-electric version took on a radically different silhouette than its combustion-powered counterpart in order to enhance electric efficiency and aerodynamics.
However, a new variant of the Escalade IQ takes on a similar shape to the standard combustion-powered Escalade, and echoes the added usability and space of the longer Escalade EXT. Named the Cadillac Escalade IQL, the new model, being introduced for the 2026 model year, will offer customers more space and cargo capacity with all the same benefits and innovative features of the futuristic yet classically luxurious Escalade IQ.
The model will be manufactured in Detroit, and is set to be sold globally. It will features the available Executive Second Row package that the Escalade IQ is known for, as well as additional third-row space and an added 12.2 cubic feet of trunk storage. High-tech luxury features like a standard 21-speaker and available 42-speaker sound system, a 55-inch display that spans the entire dashboard, a power-folding third row, Dolby Atmos, Super Cruise, and 5G Wifi hotspot capability make the new 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQL a stunningly futuristic luxury oasis.
With 750 horsepower and 785 lb/ft of torque on tap, the new Escalade IQL delivers compelling performance, including a 0-60 time of just 4.7 seconds. A towing capacity of 7,500 pounds and an estimated range of 460 miles adds practicality to the mix. Glamour and good looks are provided not only with the striking exterior silhouette, but also with 24-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires, and versatility comes in the form of four available trims: Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport. Starting at an MSRP of $132,695, Cadillac is charging full speed into the electrified era of its iconic luxury.
