After watching a fight at the MGM in Las Vegas, Tupac Shakur was shot in this very 1996 BMW 750iL that was leased by Death Row Records. Behind the wheel of the car at the time of the shooting was Suge Knight. When he was shot, Tupac had sold over 75 million records worldwide and was a central rapper in the West Coast vs East Coast feud between Bad Boy Records and Death Row Records.

The car has had several owners since that tragic night, but the most recent owner had the car go through a full restoration.
