Introduced as the brand’s first-ever electric hypercar, the Lotus Evija shocked the automotive world with its all-electric powertrain and track-focused appearance. With production and deliveries beginning, many lucky owners are patiently awaiting their dream configurations for the opportunity to experience the next generation of Lotus performance. One of those individuals is former F1 World Champion Jenson Button, who has already spent some time behind the Evija before getting an allocation for himself. While most will be taking delivery at a local dealer, Lotus is proud to announce that Jenson Button will debut his bespoke Lotus Evija at the prestigious The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering on Friday, August 18th.

Showcased in a white factory finish, Jenson’s Evija build includes black and lime green highlights that accentuate the curvatures of the hypercar. Inside, the carbon crazy interior resembles its exterior with carbon sports bucket seats layered in white leather and green trim components. Additionally, Lotus incorporated Jenson Button’s #22 race number on each door insert. Its electric motors deliver a jaw-dropping 1,973 horsepower, making it the most powerful series-production road car. This power is evenly distributed to all four wheels to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in under 3 seconds, with a top speed of over 200 mph. The Evija’s 70 kWh battery, developed in partnership with Williams Advanced Engineering, enables an impressive range of 250 miles.
