The famous automotive YouTube personality will own Lotus’s final combustion-powered model.
YouTube personality TheStradman is known for his extensive car collection and impressive adventures, stunts and customizations with it. Whether it’s a Ferrari, Bugatti, Lamborghini, or an enormous 6×6 Jeep Gladiator, TheStradman’s cars are always intriguing and exciting to see. However, the most exciting part of watching TheStradman’s videos is when a new car is added to the collection, and this time it’s the new Lotus Emira.
The Lotus Emira marks an important chapter in the history of the historic manufacturer, because Lotus has promised that the Emira will be its last model to be powered by a combustion engine before the brand switches to electric models in the future. It embodies everything that makes Lotus great: beautiful design, lightweight agility, and impressive performance overall.
TheStradman chose Lamborghini Salt Lake City for his new Lotus, and it also isn’t his first Lotus, mentioning a previous blue Lotus Elise, and considering a similar shade of blue for the Emira. Opting for the supercharged V6 powertrain, TheStradman expects his car to be delivered in April of 2024, and in addition to being the last Lotus with a gasoline powered engine, having the V6 option means that TheStradman will also own the last Lotus model with a manual transmission.
With the Lotus Emira being a milestone moment in Lotus history and automotive history in general, as well as an excellent performance car in its own right, it simply has to be a part of TheStradman’s incredibly comprehensive garage. Fans will have to wait for quite some time to find out the exact spec and see the final car, but in the meantime, it’s clear that TheStradman’s upcoming Lotus Emira will certainly be special.
