This Murcielago SV gives the term “unicorn” a whole new meaning.
As the automotive world continues evolving towards autonomous driving and electrified powertrains, the market for early-era sports cars and supercars has skyrocketed amongst purists who long for massive combustion motors and manual transmissions. It brings us back to the days of poster cars like the Lamborghini Murcielago, pinned on bedroom walls worldwide with hopes of owning a V12-powered, Italian raging bull one day. While that dream has become slightly more challenging with Murcielago prices at an all-time high, it doesn’t stop the team at Curated from sourcing, buying, and selling some of the most desirable examples. Curated recently took to its Instagram to publicly unveil one of its best finds yet, a stunning one-off Lamborghini Murcielago SV that has just landed on U.S. soil for the very first time.
Before we go any further, yes, this Murcielago SV does feature the incredibly sought-after six-speed manual transmission, of which only six examples were ever produced for the world. This specific example stands out even further amongst its counterparts with a breathtaking Marrone Eklipsis, courtesy of the Lamborghini’s production facility in Sant’Agata. The unicorn configuration also showcases a wingless body design with a set of factory gold multi-spoke wheels, further cementing its status as a true one-of-one creation. Inside, the Murcielago SV’s cabin comes layered in rich brown Alcantara with contrasting beige, diamond-stitched sports bucket seats.
At the rear, the Lamborghini Murcielago SV houses a massive 6.5L naturally-aspirated V12 engine that screams all the way to 8,000 rpm, generating a whopping 661 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque. As mentioned previously, this SV comes equipped with a manual transmission that automatically places it into a seven-figure collector car category. Curated is pleased to announce that it will be displaying the one-off Manual Murcielago SV during Monterey Car Week 2024 at The Quail: A Motorsport Gathering event for all to see.
