Generous donors made this an experience to remember.
On Saturday, September 23, a fleet of 15 exotic cars gathered for Miami Lighthouse For The Blind’s 2023 Cars For Charity event, in which donors and sponsors bring the ultimate car enthusiast experience to blind and visually impaired students. In the event, students got to hear, touch, and interact with supercars of all kinds, getting an up close and personal experience with their luxury and excellence.
Cars like the Ferrari Roma, Lamborghini Huracán, Porsche 911 Turbo S and more were all present and open for over 50 Miami Lighthouse for the Blind students to experience, with revving engines, surfaces in leather and Alcantara, and other engaging experiences to be had. Regarding the event, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind CEO Virginia Jacko said “For our students that may not be able to see the car… they will definitely hear and feel the roar of the engines. For a number of our students, this will be their first encounter with high-end automobiles, and they will have the chance to sit in, explore and ride in these high performance vehicles thanks to a few very generous donors.”
While blind or visually impaired students might not be able to see the exotic cars at the event, they were surely able to get a feel for what makes them so special and experience them in a unique way through the event, which was surely a memorable experience for all of the over 50 students who had the opportunity to participate. For students and children, the opportunity to experience supercars is a dream, and with Cars For Charity, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind makes that dream come true.
