Gear up for the Mecum Monterey 2023, an impressive showcase of classic, supercar, and European sports car offerings hitting the auction block from August 17-19 at the Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey, California. The much-anticipated event, hosted by the world’s largest collector car auction company, is set to feature an estimated 600 vehicles and around 100 vintage motorcycles.

Leading the pack are selections from The Veloce, Schnell & Fast Sports Car Collection, featuring 12 Ferraris, seven Porsches, and four Austin-Healeys. Highlighted lots include the 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/6C Alloy Berlinetta (Lot F84), sporting a Colombo V-12 engine, and a 1963 Ferrari 400 Superamerica Series II (Lot F86), one of just 22 long-wheelbase Series II vehicles produced from 1962-64. Porsche enthusiasts will covet the 1956 Porsche 356A 1500 GS Carrera Speedster (Lot F96), a type 547/1 Carrera with a unique 1498cc 4-cam flat-4 engine.

The Don Williams Estate Collection offers a stunning 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster (Lot S99), a Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance showstopper featuring unique coachwork by Mayfair Carriage Works. Also up for grabs is the award-winning 1931 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A Landaulet Imperiale (Lot S102) with original Castagna coachwork.

Adding some Japanese flare, the Mike and Debbie Rogers Datsun Collection showcases a 1970 Nissan Fairlady Z432 (Lot S82), a rare model with only 299 produced, and the iconic 1969 Datsun 240Z (Lot S84), one of the 195 production models from 1969 remaining.
