The world’s most important gathering to celebrate the Ferrari marque, the Cavallino Classic, welcomed the newest member of its hypercar dynasty, the F80, to its majestic show lawns in Palm Beach Florida to make its North American public debut across the weekend. The 1,200-hp F80 represents the pinnacle of Ferrari’s automotive innovation and performance, following in the footsteps of Prancing Horse legends such as the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari.
Cavallino Classic returned to South Florida for its 34th annual event celebrating the beauty, speed, history, and art of all things Ferrari. Collectors from all continents gathered alongside thousands of experts, enthusiasts, and tastemakers of all ages to celebrate Ferrari’s excellence. Since 1992, the Cavallino Classic has served as the temple of the preservation of Enzo Ferrari’s legacy.
It also featured Enzo Mattioli Ferrari, the great-grandson of Enzo Ferrari, joining the Cavallino organization. Interviewed on the main stage of the show, Enzo said of the cars on display: “When I came here the first time in 1998 with my grandfather [Piero Ferrari] and my father [Giacomo Mattioli], I was already very impressed by the magnitude of the event. That I grew up with it, year after year, to me it’s really, really romantic to link myself being here today and my great grandfather giving the blessing at the time to the Cavallino magazine.
“What’s special is that every single car here has a different story. What is great about vintage is that you feel like a little bit like Indiana Jones, so you go and try to find the history behind all the cars, what’s behind each chassis and what happened there, the color, and so forth. The story of its preservation, that part of being the custodian of something, it gives you the uniqueness of the brand, and the uniqueness of the cars themselves. It certainly makes it all very special.”
Other notable attendees included fashion designer Tommy and Dee Hilfiger, influential guests including Palm Beach Mayor Mayor Danielle Moore, Logan Horne, Devorah Ezagui, Georges “Monsieur” Coupet, Christie Ferrari, Claudia Caminero, Peter Ostrega, Rick Rose, and Herbert Wertheim.
The four-day event included the iconic Tour d’Eleganza, the highly anticipated Party Under The Stars, and the historic Concorso d’Eleganza where the beautiful lawns of The Breakers in Palm Beach flourished with over 150 of the world’s rarest and perfectly restored or carefully preserved Ferraris. Over 70 cars received awards for the vehicles based on originality, authenticity, condition, and overall style.
· Best of Show Granturismo 2025 was awarded to a 1954 Ferrari 375 MM.
· Best of Show Competizione 2025 was awarded to a 1957 Ferrari 335 S belonging to Brian Ross.
· A 1967 Ferrari Dino 206 S was selected from entries with Ferrari Classiche’s “red book” certification as the Best of Show 2025 Classiche Certified.
The event also featured dynamic sessions with experts and collectors, in addition to exhibitions in partnership with Riva Yacht, Bang & Olufsen, Schedoni Modena, RM Sotheby’s, Richard Mille and Hedley Studios.
The weekend closed with the Classic & Sports Sunday car show and charity brunch at the legendary Marjorie Merriweather Post mansion in old Palm Beach, Mar-a-Lago Club. Stunning classic cars of all marques, and rare modern luxury, or sports cars of Italian provenance were on display.
