Half-mile racing is one of the fastest-growing forms of motorsport. A decade ago, it began with a few cars and their friends. After 36 events, they have amassed thousands of fans & competitors. As a sponsor, you can find our latest issue at their races, and we’re excited to announce that wannaGOFAST has built America’s first half-mile dragstrip.
It was a joint project with South Georgia Motorsports Park, as their world-class NHRA 1/4 Mile track was extended to 5,600 feet with full safety & timing upgrades. Located in Adel, it is close to Valdosta and Interstate 75. The first event is scheduled for the weekend of Feb 29-March 1st. Below is coverage of their last event, but now we have the safety of a dragstrip instead of renting a runway. We’ll see you there!
