Alongside Ferrari’s regular production Italian supercars, there lies an ultra-exclusive category of examples showcased as limited-production models offered to the brand’s most passionate clientele. As far as front-engine Ferraris go, the automotive world got a taste of that with the release of the track-focused 812 Competizione. The open-top Ferrari 812 Competizione A came shortly after with a scarce quantity of only 1,598 units dedicated to the world of collectors hoping to secure an allocation. The Italian prancing horse professionals at Cauley Ferrari Of Detroit are proud to showcase the recent delivery of this stunning Ferrari 812 Competizione A to its lucky new owner.
Tying in traditional aspects from Ferrari’s long-standing history, this 812 Competizione A spec features a triple-layer Gaillo Strato finish with tons of exposed gloss carbon trim accents. Inside, the black and yellow theme continues with a pair of competition sports bucket seats layered in square-stitched fabric. In addition, the driver-focused cabin incorporates carbon fiber and Alcantara with matching Gaillo highlights. The Ferrari 812 Competizione A is equipped with a magnificent 6.5-liter V12 engine capable of delivering a staggering 830 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 510 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 812 Competizione A can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.85 seconds and reach a top speed of around 211 mph. As more configurations make their journey to happy new homes, we are excited to see some of the upcoming 812 Competizione A specs.
