Following the devastating floods that affected the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna ahead of its Formula 1 Grand Prix event, F1 race teams are coming together to offer support and resources to the local community. Shifting efforts from race prep to natural disaster support, Ferrari announces its donation of 1 million euros to the Emilia-Romagna Region's Agency for Territorial Safety and Civil Protection, joining the regional fundraising campaign of its home country.
The funds will be used, with the coordination of the territorial authorities, to help the local population affected by the recent flooding, with a particular focus on projects for environmental recovery and the management of hydrogeological instability. Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna expresses his support by saying "In times of difficulty, Ferrari has always stood by its community." If you would like to donate to the Emergency Flood Relief Fundraising, please follow the instructions below.
