Once owned by the F1 legend himself!
There’s something truly special about Porsche, and more specifically, its factory GT race cars. Combining an ultra-lightweight chassis with tons of aero upgrades, a stripped-out cockpit, and a naturally aspirated flat-six, Porsche Cup cars deliver a thrilling track experience that even has Formula 1 stars hopping behind the wheel. Specializing in sourcing and selling top-tier Porsche race cars, the knowledgeable team at Isringhausen Imports is proud to showcase this 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup formerly owned by Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 driver Max Verstappen as part of its inventory of exotic cars for sale on duPont REGISTRY.
Acquired from a team in Belgium that supported Verstappen’s recreational use of several Porsche race cars, this 991.2 GT3 Cup was once operated by both Max and his father Jos. It was then sold to a customer here in the US who campaigned it successfully in the IGT series in 2023. Now completely serviced and cleaned up by Goldcrest Motorsports, the GT3 Cup currently has 70 hours. Originally sporting a red and black livery, the Porsche has since returned to its factory white finish, acting as a blank slate for its future owner’s custom race livery.
Inside, the cabin has been completely stripped down to metal to shed every ounce of unwanted weight, attributed to Porsche’s renowned power-to-weight ratio. Along with a track-certified, full roll cage, the interior also features advanced safety and fire systems, track telemetry technology, and even cooling controls for the driver’s suit. The 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup also packs a serious punch with its naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine, producing more than 485 horsepower to its rear wheels. Designed for the track, it features a six-speed sequential gearbox that delivers precise quick shifts.
