Genesis Unveils New G70 Track Day Special Concept

Genesis showcases a track-ready version of its popular sedan.

Known for boasting an incredibly popular lineup of luxury cars despite the youth of the brand, Genesis is quickly building a legacy as one of the most formidable titans of the luxury automotive industry. However, the brand is on the cusp of a new era, and specifically expanding its brand to include performance offerings.

Launched with a vivid orange color, that new sub brand will be called Magma, and it’s already coming together with the reveal of various performance-oriented concepts and an upcoming endurance racing hypercar with its sights set on Le Mans domination in 2026. Now, another track-focused Genesis has come to the forefront, revealed in Canada, and it’s the new Genesis G70 Track Day Special Concept.

Inspired by the Genesis Track Taxi Nordschleife, the new G70 Track Day Special Concept uses the Track Taxi’s same suspension, wheels, and tires, adding aggressive aerodynamics to it. These include hood vents and an impressive rear wing for optimal downforce. The new track car is set to embark on a tour of Canada throughout the rest of 2025, and it is set to show Genesis customers and enthusiasts the incredible potential of a high-performance approach to Genesis’ lineup, including its already popular G70 sports sedan.
