With more than 12 years until he’s legal to drive on public roads, Zayn does the impossible.
As young car enthusiasts growing up in an ever-evolving world of high-performance supercars and hypercars with massive price tags, dreams run wild with the hopes of one day owning a car like the 1,001 horsepower Lamborghini Revuelto. And while most young drivers get their start behind the wheel of push cars and go-karts, Turkish 5-year-old Zayn Sofuoğlu has been getting some serious internet recognition for piloting monstrous machines like jet skis, Can-Am Spyders, pit bikes, and even a G80 BMW M3 Competition. Zayn is going viral once again after uploading his newest stunt to Instagram, becoming the fastest child in the world with a record-breaking sprint in a Lamborghini Revuelto.
And before you say, “Who lets a 5-year-old drive a Lamborghini?,” the high-speed sprint took place at a closed, private drag strip with every precautionary safety measure taken to make it an incredible day for Zayn. Strapped into his specially designed car seat with pedal extensions on the Revuelto, Zayn was accompanied by his father in the passenger seat to help safely instruct him while crossing the line at 194 mph. The record-breaking sprint unleashed all 1,001 horsepower from the Lamborghini Revuelto’s innovative hybrid powertrain as the future racer shifted through gears using the carbon paddle shifters in Corsa mode. At only 5 years and 128 days old, Zayn Sofuoğlu has become the fastest child on the planet, with plans on continuing to grow and become one of the coolest car kids ever.
