Our team is incredibly proud to announce that in just two months since the Platform launched, in mid-November last year, we have closed our very first sale to cross the million-dollar mark, a 2023 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport.
The highest bid reached $3,821,000, and after two weeks and 70+ bids, the final transaction price, including the buyer’s premium, settled at $4,012,050. That figure landed within striking distance of the duPont REGISTRY Garage App’s dRi predicted value of $4.06 million at the time of listing, validating both the car and the market.
duPont REGISTRY Index is a high-end vehicle valuation and market-tracking tool focused exclusively on the luxury, exotic, and collector car space – often described as the Kelley Blue Book for six- and seven-figure automobiles.
Finished in the historically significant Jaune Molsheim spec, this Chiron Pur Sport is one of just 60 made, which makes it even more exclusive with the Chiron’s overall limited production run of 500 units. The Nocturne paint with Giallo Midas accents over a Beluga Black interior directly references founder Ettore Bugatti’s own yellow-and-black personal car, tying in this exquisite modern-hypercar with the French marque's rich historical provenance.
We’ve extensively touched on this track-focused W16-powered Chiron Pur Sport that packs 1,500 horsepower and 218 mph top speed, but what sets this particular example apart is its exhaustive list of factory options, adding up to $234k. The Sky View Roof ($62k) and the Giallo Tarus Pur Sport Interior Package ($60k) on their own amount to over half that figure. Other highlights include exposed carbon fiber throughout, with carbon lower body parts, carbon fiber door panels, carbon fiber interior trim, and carbon fiber rear wing.
