Destination Defender brings outdoor excitement to the Hudson Valley.
Starting life as one of the most important and pioneering legends in the off-road automotive world, Land Rover has grown the Defender name into an absolute legend among enthusiasts and collectors. Along with a lineup of highly capable off-road-oriented luxury SUVs, Defender has also launched a performance variant, the Octa, which will serve as the basis for a Dakar Rally racing effort Defender is heading in 2026.
However, the reverence and admiration for the Defender brand has evolved beyond the vehicles themselves, with Defender becoming symbolic for a love of the outdoors, exploration, and natural beauty, which is what Destination Defender celebrates. A series of festivals that feature off-road adventuring and outdoor lifestyle activities that celebrate nature, Destination Defender has has events across the country, and is returning to New York’s Hudson Valley, where the festival has been before.
Taking place from May 16-18, Destination Defender is coming back to Hudson Valley for three days of hiking, yoga, culinary experiences, and more at the Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, New York. Held in partnership with Outside, Interactive Inc., the festival, of course, showcases the incredible off-road capabilities of Defender vehicles with a specially designed network of trails.
Defender is also set to showcase its current model lineup, including the 90, 110, and 130 models at the event, along with the new Defender Octa, and the Defender Beach Break II, which will premiere at the event. Alongside the modern, highly capable Defender lineup, classic Land Rover Defender models that helped build the brand’s cherished legacy will be showcased as well. With music, adventure, and outdoor lifestyle revolving around the rugged, adventure-ready legacy of Defender vehicles, the upcoming Destination Defender in Hudson Valley will be an incredible celebration.
