Inside The Exclusive Delivery of Jacques Sicotte's Maserati MCXtrema in Modena

The Nuclear Engineer's MCXtrema will join other Maserati legends like the MC12.

Backed by over a century of history in motorsports and manufacturing, Maserti's legacy as a pioneer in the automotive world is shaped by classics that continue to pave the way for modern marvels. From its first mass production of the 3500 GT to the exclusive road-worthy homologation series of the MC12, each chapter of Maserati's story is responsible for the future limited-production supercars like the MCXtrema. The Viale Ciro Menotti plant in Modena has been the birthplace of Maserati's most iconic creations for nearly nine decades. Recently, it became the stage for a moment that celebrated past and present together, as nuclear engineer and entrepreneur Jacques Sicotte of southern France added a Maserati MCXtrema to his renowned collection.

Already the owner of a Maserati MC12, Sicotte understood the MCXtrema as a natural successor and an essential addition to his garage of more than 60 rare cars. Designed exclusively for the track and limited to just 62 units, the car represents Maserati's relentless drive and deep Italian heritage, making its delivery at the historic headquarters all the more appropriate. Sicotte's MCXtrema showcases the bespoke options offered through Maserati's MCXlusiva program. His car features a striking "Corse" livery inspired by the MC12 Stradale, with a two-tone matte blue and pearl white finish. A trident painted across the hood adds a historic touch, while the number 77 on the door holds personal significance for its new owner.

The delivery itself carried an additional highlight as the keys were handed over by Andrea Bertolini, Maserati's Chief Test Driver and a four-time GT World Champion behind the wheel of the MC12. With 740 horsepower from a twin-turbo Nettuno V6, the MCXtrema is the most extreme track-focused Maserati ever built, sharpened by over a thousand hours of research and more than two hundred hours in simulation. Beyond the car itself, Maserati has introduced MCXperience, a dedicated ownership program crafted exclusively for MCXtrema clients. Owners are invited into a select circle that offers personalized track days, after-sales support from Maserati Corse, and access to professional drivers. Each car is delivered with a Sparco racing kit to complete the experience, connecting drivers directly to the car's DNA.
