This new one-off supercar is set to make one Car Week appearance.
One of the most anticipated automotive events of the year is on the horizon: Monterey Car Week. With some of the most prestigious displays, concours events, and activities on the planet surrounding some of the world’s most exclusive and coveted cars, Monterey Car Week brings out the absolute best in the automotive industry, as well as among luxury and exotic car collectors. One of those is Carlos Peralta, for whom GFG Style created a stunning one-off supercar that will only make one appearance during Car Week at the Monterey Motorsports Festival.
That car is the Peralta S, and it was designed by Fabrizio Giugiaro within GFG Style, which was founded by Fabrizio and his legendary father, Giorgetto Giugiaro. The Peralta S is the first one-off vehicle to emerge from the design house, and after originally being unveiled in Mexico, it’s making its U.S. debut at Monterey Motorsports Festival.
The Peralta S is based on the Maserati MC20, Maserati’s new supercar with racing-derived design and engineering, as well as Maserati’s exciting new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine. The Peralta S maintains the MC20’s 612-horsepower powertrain, as well as its rear-wheel drive, mid-engined layout. However, the new supercar features a retro-inspired wedge-shaped body, reminiscent of many of the masterpieces penned by Giugiaro in the past.
Inspired by the Maserati Boomerang concept from 1972, which was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the wedge shape is enhanced by a dramatic front-hinged canopy that opens upward for ingress and egress. This year’s Monterey Motorsports Festival is the place to see this incredible, retro-inspired one-off, where the new Peralta S is set to make a splash at 2025’s Monterey Car Week.
