The Dacia Sandriders are ready for their next adventure.
Dacia is gearing up for an epic challenge as the 2025 Dakar Rally kicks off in adventurous style, marking the opening round of the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship. After the team’s successful first and second place finish at the Rallye du Maroc, the Dacia Sandriders team is ready to push the limits of endurance and racing skill across Arabia’s grueling desert. Its off-road weapon of choice, the Sandrider, has undergone rigorous testing to prepare for the event’s nearly 3,200 miles of timed stages, with areas that test speed, navigation, and resilience.
The journey begins in Bisha on January 3, where competitors will face ruthless sand dunes, rocky trails, and the extreme conditions synonymous with the Dakar Rally. With GPS as their only guide, teams will tackle punishing stages like the 48h Chrono, a 600-mile endurance marathon, and travcourse’s course’s 12-day span, including a rest stop in Hail and an overnight pause in Riyadh before the finish in Shubay. Dacia’s three-car squad, led by Team Principal Tiphanie Isnard, couldn’t be more excited as they aim to build on their Moroccan success.
