Daniel Craig has added more depth to the character of James Bond, that his performances have been compared to a certain Scotsman who shall remain unnamed. As such, the perks of the job include street legal versions of the film’s automotive stars, and the most popular in recent history has been the 100th Anniversary example of the Aston Martin Vanquish.

To celebrate a century of handbuilt perfection, only 100 examples were produced in 2014. As a fitting tribute, this Aston Martin has VIN 007, and it will be the centerpiece of Christie’s “The Exceptional Sale”. Mr. Craig is donating the proceeds to The Opportunity Network, a NYC-based charity that helps disadvantaged kids achieve their education and employment goals. He and his wife Rachel Weisz are both board members of the organization.Reuters is reporting the midnight blue Aston Martin will be on display in Christie’s LA showroom from Feb 27th to March 3rd and it is expected to bring anywhere from $400,000 to $600,000 when the hammer falls.
