Polestar’s burgeoning EV lineup is driving increasing revenue.
A few years ago, Polestar set an ambitious goal: five new EV models in as many years. Now, most of the way through that time, the Polestar 5 and 6 models are waiting in the wings, and the Polestar 2 has been extensively updated to sit alongside the Polestar 3 SUV and the Polestar 4 SUV coupe. With a strong and continuously growing lineup of vehicles that combine cutting-edge EV technology with luxurious features, compelling performance, and decidedly Scandinavian design, Polestar is on a continuous path of growth.
In the first half of 2025, Polestar saw its revenue grow by an impressive 56 percent. This is thanks to retail sales volumes growing by 51 percent amidst the expansion of its retail network and its growing lineup of electric luxury cars. In addition, another highlight coming from the first half of this year is the announcement of a future production site in Europe, specifically in Kosice, Slovakia, which is set to house the production of the upcoming Polestar 7 model.
A compact SUV, the Polestar 7 is due to be launched in 2028, and Volvo Cars has been announced to be Polestar’s development and manufacturing partner for the model. A four-door grand tourer, the Polestar 5 is still set to be introduced in 2025, and the upcoming Polestar 6 will be a roadster, an exciting addition not only to Polestar’s lineup but also to the EV landscape. With success in the first half of 2025, Polestar’s growth is going according to plan thus far.
