This why we are intrigued that Porsche & Boeing submitted patents for an electric aircraft.
The Patent shows four fans, including two lifters in the wings and a pair of tilt-rotors on the rear. Like all high-voltage batteries, they get hot when working hard. This is where the real innovation lies. The batteries are surrounded by cooling channels, which keep them cool while providing a blast of hot air to help the fans.
