Porsche brings the Cayenne S Coupe on a desert adventure.
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe is a reimagination of one of Porsche’s most important modern masterpieces, its inaugural SUV, the Cayenne. Responsible for ushering Porsche into a new era and redefining the possibilities for luxury performance manufacturers to foray into the realm of manufacturing SUVs, the Cayenne is a true legend in the Porsche lineup despite only having 20 years of history. The Coupe body style transforms the Cayenne with a stylish, athletic silhouette while remaining a practical and sumptuous SUV.
To show off its versatility, Porsche took the Cayenne S Coupe on a road trip from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, traveling through the desert roads of the UAE, exploring the country’s modernity and rich, ancient tradition. The country was formed in 1971 upon discovering oil reserves and the conjunction of seven emirates. Dubai, of course, is an ultramodern metropolis with the tallest building in the world and one of the world’s densest concentrations of supercars, luxury cars, fashion, and more.
However, beyond Dubai lies the other Emirates, known for their gorgeous coastlines, pearl divers, ancient villages, including a mosque built in the 15th century, mountainous landscapes, desert dunes, and more. Abu Dhabi, the end destination of the over 400-mile road trip, is the UAE’s capital and houses beautiful sights like the world’s largest mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi Art Museum, and more. Throughout the trip, the Porsche Cayenne S Coupe showed off its versatility as an engaging luxury performance vehicle with robust V8 power and a luxurious, spacious, and practical body and interior.
