The Porsche Taycan enters a new era.
Electrification is taking the automotive world by storm, and while it might seem like the Porsche Taycan only just arrived on the scene, the luxury sports EV is now in its second generation. Alongside the newly-revealed all-electric Porsche Macan, Porsche’s inaugural electric vehicle is redesigned for 2025, with more power, more efficiency, and even faster charging.
Porsche looked closely at all the variants of the Taycan, revising its range of driving experiences, and further differentiating the Turbo models to offer a unique level of performance and luxury within the lineup, as well. Already, over 150,000 Taycans have been produced, making it an important part of Porsche’s lineup, and one of the most prominent symbols of its pursuit of futurism.
For 2025, all the new Porsche Taycan models are faster than their predecessors, with the Turbo S sedan able to reach 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds, 0.3 seconds better than the previous generation. It’s also capable of an incredible 938 horsepower, which makes it the most powerful production Porsche yet.
The design has been revised as well, with an updated, sportier look added to the car, as well as lighting designs that feature welcome and exit animations, and Turbonite finishes for the Turbo and Turbo S models. The interior features new leather-free options, even offering finishes in Porsche’s iconic Pepita houndstooth cloth, alongside RaceTex.
Available to order now in the United States, the 2025 Porsche Taycan starts at $99,400. However, for the top of the line Porsche Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo, prices start at a much higher $211,700. With more power, performance, luxury, and beautiful design, the refreshed Porsche Taycan is ready to continue leading the charge towards Porsche’s electrification.
