Where we’re going, we kind of need roads.
The Porsche Taycan is a truly exciting automobile as it’s not only all-electric but made by one of the most revered automakers in the world. Being such a sought-after vehicle, Porsche has ensured that drivers are able to charge their Taycan wherever they go. To accomplish this, they have a massive network of chargers through Electrify America and European Ionity. This charging network is so large, in fact, that there is a combined 1.21 gigawatts of combined power within it. Within the network are 670 Electrify America and 372 Ionity charging locations, amounting to over 4,800 individual chargers. So, while it’s impossible for a single car to have a power output of 1.21 gigawatts, at least the Taycan’s charging network is capable of such a feat. To celebrate the network exceeding the specific amount of power, Porsche has put together a short video of the Taycan driving alongside the iconic time-traveling De Lorean DMC-12 from Back to the Future. Watch it up above and see if you can spot the several Easter Eggs.
