The new Rimac Nevera marks a turning point in the hypercar world, introducing a revolutionary new electric contender to the hypercar world, with performance and engineering that’s broken records and pushed the envelope of what electric cars and hypercars alike are capable of. However, Rimac has made a move that reaffirms its confidence in the technology and innovation that it’s incorporated into the Nevera: an 8-year warranty on its battery.
The lasting performance of the battery is one of the primary concerns of electric car ownership, as batteries can lose capacity over time. However, Rimac’s new 8-year warranty for the battery guarantees the performance of the Nevera’s battery for 8 years with unlimited mileage covered
The new warranty will not only cover the remaining number of the 150 Rimac Nevera hypercars that are still yet to be produced and delivered, but also the cars that have already been delivered to clients. This adds an additional seven years of coverage on the advanced liquid-cooled 120kWh battery to their cars.
The guarantee stipulates that at the end of the warranty period, the battery should still have 75% of its total charging capacity, and with that level of confidence behind its technology, the new Rimac Nevera is changing conventions in the exotic car world.
