The drag race we've been waiting for.
As electric cars become more mainstream, we're going to start seeing more and more standout models in terms of performance. What we have here are two electric cars that are groundbreaking in their own rights. First up is the Tesla Model S Plaid, an electric sedan that has an MSRP of $124,000 as well as unrelenting acceleration. Next is the Rimac Nevera, a $2.4 million hypercar that packs 1,914 horsepower and has also raised the bar for what an all-electric hypercar should be. DragTimes recently filmed these two electric cars drag racing each other and the results were expected. That being said, it's still so much fun to see these two electric powerhouses take on each other at the drag strip.
