As Formula 1 gears up for the first U.S. round of the 2025 season, another high-speed name from the world of motorsports is grabbing headlines off track. Alpinestars, the Italian brand renowned for its high-quality fireproof gear and race day essentials, have announced their first-ever sneaker: the STARLINE SHOE. The company is now stepping into the competitive sneaker market under the brand’s fashion-forward RSRV line that channels motorsports culture into art, design, and wearable gear.
Building on the iconic Supermono performance driving shoe, the STARLINE sneaker features a full suede upper, raised side yoke, and a racing sole that has been repurposed from the same tech you see in the F1 paddock. The shoe’s narrow profile, lace-lock system and focus on grip are as much about form, as they are about control and comfort.

With this launch, Alpinestars is pushing its technical legacy beyond the pit lane. Founded in Asolo, near the Dolomites in Northern Italy, the company first made ski and mountaineering boots in 1963, before shifting focus to motorcycle and eventually auto racing gear. Having outfitted motorsporting legends, with everyone from the likes of Valentino Rossi to Michael Schumacher. Alpinestars have earned their stripes over the past six decades, owing to their obsessive attention to both design and safety. The STARLINE sneaker draws from that same philosophy.
With three colorways to choose from – MONARCH, FROZEN, and FACTORY- the STARLINE SHOE will be available in extremely limited quantities for $450 / €450 online and at the Webster Miami.
