The Ford GT looks to be at a disadvantage in power, but the Camaro loaded with the 10-speed automatic weighs in at 4,100 lbs. The Ford GT is around 500 lbs lighter, and probably a bit more slippery thanks to its smaller size. Each car also makes power in different ways. Ford's EcoBoost engines need to rev in order to spool the turbos, but Chevy's belt-driven intake manifold has available boost at all times. The Ford owner had to pay a premium to get his car this early, as supplier issues are slowing down production. Both drivers need an award for taking their new cars to the track instead of lining up on the street. A little courtesy goes a long way, so always remember to let the faster cars pass you.
