Hublot’s new release hits the slopes in style.
Hublot kicked off the launch of the all-new Big Bang MECA-10 ‘Aspen One’ in perfect fashion during The Snow League’s first-ever competition weekend at Aspen Snowmass. With snowboarders and freestyle skiers going all out at Buttermilk Mountain, the event was packed with festivities on and off the slopes. The energy carried over to the Champions Party at the Snow Lodge at St. Regis Aspen, where DJ Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia kept the party going. Hublot, the official timekeeper of The Snow League, made things extra special by awarding Classic Fusion Racing Grey watches to winners Yuto Totsuka and Gaon Choi. Big names like Shaun White, Nina Dobrev, Julianne Hough, and J Balvin also made an appearance throughout the weekend.
The Big Bang MECA-10 Aspen One is the latest in Hublot’s ongoing partnership with Aspen Snowmass, combining high-end watchmaking with winter action sports. The 45mm black ceramic case, white ceramic bezel, and skeletonized dial give it a bold look, while the manual-winding movement packs an impressive 10-day power reserve. The watch was a fitting highlight for an event focused on pushing boundaries, much like The Snow League. Founded by Shaun White, the league is bringing a fresh take to competitive snowboarding and freeskiing with stops in China, Switzerland, and Aspen over the next two years. Between high-flying tricks, exclusive parties, and a new watch release, Hublot and The Snow League made sure this was a weekend to remember.
