Ulysse Nardin stays ahead of the curve with new sustainable models.
Ulysse Nardin’s latest two-watch capsule collection perfectly embodies the thrill of adventure, the search for innovation, and the ongoing dedication to sustainability. Known for its groundbreaking accomplishments in luxury watchmaking, Ulysse Nardin continues to push boundaries, a legacy that started in the 19th century with their pioneering marine chronometers.
Today, as environmental concerns for our oceans grow, Ulysse Nardin remains dedicated to reflecting its responsibility through their ingenious designs. This year, Ulysse Nardin has expanded its adventurous “Ops” capsule collection with two dynamic new models: the Diver Net OPS and the Diver Skeleton OPS.
The Diver Net OPS is a high-performance timepiece and the most sustainable sports watch with an in-house movement on the market. It offers water resistance down to 300 meters and is powered by the automatic UN-118, featuring a 60-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring. The case, made from 95% recycled stainless steel, incorporates creative materials like Nylo from upcycled fishing nets and Carbonium, a high-strength material used in aircraft manufacturing. The sandblasted khaki green dial features a power reserve indicator and small seconds display, highlighted by Super-Luminova markings that glow green in low light. The adventurous style is completed with a khaki green fabric strap made partly from upcycled fishing nets or a rubber strap with a black ceramic element.
The Diver Skeleton OPS reimagines the dive watch as a piece of haute horlogerie, featuring the skeletonized automatic movement UN-372 and water resistance to 200 meters. The 44 mm watch showcases an oversized oscillator and silicon escapement, with Carbonium used in the bezel and barrel cover. The dial’s skeleton X structure and titanium case with a black DLC coating exude ultra-modern design. The khaki green fabric strap, also made from upcycled fishing nets, enhances both its bold visual style and sustainable approach. Ulysse Nardin’s all-new Diver Net OPS ($13,300) and Diver Skeleton OPS ($27,500) are now available in authorized boutiques worldwide.
