Aston Martin brings automotive luxury excellence to the sport of polo.
The sport of polo has a rich history, influencing fashion and culture as one of the oldest team sports with origins dating back over 2,000 years. Often called “the sport of kings,” polo is a prestigious game, and the UK’s Guards Polo Club has been called “the most prestigious polo club in the world.” It’s closely associated with the British royal family, with King Charles III being the club’s president, succeeding the late Prince Philip before him.
For the 2025 season, Guards Polo Club has announced that Aston Martin will be its official car partner. Another legend in the world of British luxury, Aston Martin has been celebrated for over 110 years for its lineup of performance-oriented, beautiful British luxury vehicles. In addition to complementing the Guards Polo Club’s world-class polo events, Aston Martin will also sponsor the Prince of Wales’s Championship Cup in 2025. At the event, Aston Martin will display its renowned cars like the V12-powered Vanquish and the DBX 707. The brand will also have a significant presence at the Cartier Queen’s Cup.
The club’s president, King Charles III, is an owner of Aston Martin vehicles himself, and the most significant example in his collection is DB6 Volante, which was driven by the Prince and Princess of Wales during their 2011 wedding. Combining a prestigious and historic sport with a legendary British luxury automotive manufacturer, Aston Martin’s partnership with the Guards Polo Club is a new chapter in luxury excellence for 2025.
