Gunther Werks Reveals Latest Turbo Commission Inspired by a Greek Mythology Disney Character

Gunther Werks unveiled its latest Turbo-based commission, dubbed “Hercules”. Showcased via a recent post on Instagram, this latest build draws inspiration from the legendary character and the protagonist in Disney's 1997 animated film, based on the Greek mythological hero. The exterior features a color-shifting finish that transitions between deep red and brown depending on lighting. The interior draws from Hercules’ iconic blue cape, which serves as a contrast against the earthy tones of the exterior. Blue accents run throughout the cabin, while brown leather covers primary surfaces. Alcantara has been used on high-contact areas for grip, while the dash includes a custom trim panel featuring subtle Greek-inspired detailing. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Gunther Werks (@guntherwerks)   Power comes from a Rothsport Racing-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six that produces 840 horsepower, while a full carbon fiber composite body keeps curb weight just over 2,750 pounds, offering up a power-to-weight ratio of 0.305 hp/lb that places it in hypercar territory. For some context, that is Bugatti Chiron territory. Based out of Huntington Beach in Southern California, Gunther Werks continues to evolve its lineup predominantly based on the 993 platform.  Built in extremely limited numbers to maintain exclusivity, these cars are highly bespoke with extensive customisation options. The Coupe and Speedster programs are both limited to just 25 units. The F-26 program, with over 1,000 horsepower and 935-inspired styling, is limited to 26 units, whereas the GWX program remains capped at just three examples. The GW9 offers an eight-piece precision-crafted carbon fiber aero kit for the 992.1 Turbo S. These cars seldom come up for sale, but a GW Speedster dubbed “Mystique” is currently up for auction on duPont REGISTRY Live (If you're interested in financing this car or another exotic car, be sure to get pre-qualified). What makes it particularly desirable is that Porsche itself never pursued the Speedster bodystyle for the 993 generation as a series production model. A one-off Sonderunsch commission for Porsche collector Luca Trazzi, shown at the Quail in 2024, pursues this unique configuration. View All Gunther Werks For Sale  Images: @guntherwerks

Lamborghini Temerario Moves Into the Aftermarket Spotlight Outfitted With Vossen Wheels

Lamborghini Temerario Moves Into the Aftermarket Spotlight Outfitted With Vossen Wheels

Last week, a Lamborghini Temerario surfaced on the duPont REGISTRY Marketplace through Eurocar. Producing a combined 909 horsepower from a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain that we savored on track in August last year, Lamborghini’s latest entry-level supercar steps into a role previously defined by the V10 Huracán, a model that remained in production for over a decade across more than 10 variants. Offered in standard and lightweight Alleggerita configurations, the Temerario already leaves Sant’Agata with a wide range of factory personalization options and even more through Ad Personam. As expected, the aftermarket has moved quickly. This example, fitted with wheels from Miami-based Vossen, highlights how early owners are beginning to shape the platform. The car sits on forged five-spoke VPS-3 monoblocks, finished in brushed gloss clear with centers matched to the factory Bianco Monocerus paint. Vossen offers 48 finishes across sizes ranging from 19 to 24 inches. A staggered 21-inch front and 22-inch rear setup seen here gives this Italian supercar a more planted stance, while the exposed five-lug configuration removes the visual bulk typically associated with covered hub designs. Among the most aggressive forms from Lamborghini’s Centro Stile, subtle exterior revisions by Legends Auto Boutique out of Connecticut further separate it from the standard car. The rear diffuser now features additional body-colored fins, complemented by matching panels flanking the central exhaust. Up front, the original hexagonal daytime running light signature has been replaced with integrated bumper-mounted DRLs, giving the front fascia a cleaner, more functional appearance. As early builds begin to surface, this Temerario signals how quickly Lamborghini’s newest platform is being reinterpreted beyond the factory. These are still early days for the Temerario, and as the lineup evolves with more body styles and variants, this is a space that will continue to grow alongside. Canepa Debuts Carrera GT SC And 959 SC At Amelia As Porsche’s V10 Supercar Hits $6.7M At Auction

Canepa Debuts Carrera GT SC And 959 SC At Amelia As Porsche’s V10 Supercar Hits $6.7M At Auction

The ongoing Amelia Island Concours weekend has now delivered on one of the most anticipated reveals previewed earlier this week. As discussed in yesterday’s feature, California-based Porsche specialist Canepa has officially unveiled the first Carrera GT SC (Sport Canepa), presenting its reinterpretation of the legendary V10 supercar alongside another headline project, a newly completed Porsche 959 SC finished in Rubystone Red. The Carrera GT SC made its public debut during Amelia weekend, wearing a striking Liquid Metal Green finish, a color never offered on the original production model. Canepa describes the project as the latest application of its Sport Canepa philosophy, which focuses on improving already exceptional cars through modern engineering while preserving their original character. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Canepa Collector Cars (@canepacollectorcars)   Their first Carrera GT SC receives a complete concours-level repaint, requiring the removal of every body panel before applying the Liquid Metal Green finish. Exterior revisions include body-matched air intakes, gloss black headlight bezels, gloss black exhaust surrounds, anodized black wheel center locks, and an exposed carbon fiber roll hoop. Inside, the car features a bespoke leather interior with updated Alcantara surfaces, while retaining the Carrera GT’s signature beechwood gear shifter. Mechanical updates include KW suspension with an integrated lift system, an upgraded clutch designed for improved durability, and a revised exhaust system aimed at enhancing sound and performance. Matte carbon fiber elements now appear throughout the engine bay. The timing reflects a surge of interest in the Carrera GT itself. Just yesterday, the hammer dropped at Broad Arrow’s Amelia Island auction on a one-of-one Paint to Sample Gulf Blue 2005 Porsche Carrera GT with only 2,800 miles. The car sold for $6,715,000 at no reserve, establishing a new auction record for the model. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Canepa Collector Cars (@canepacollectorcars)   Canepa also revealed another significant project earlier in the day at the Porsche Club of America Werks Reunion. The company introduced its latest Porsche 959 SC, finished in bold Rubystone Red with a bright white leather interior and matching wheels. The first 959 SC was revealed back in 2022. As part of the Sport Canepa process, the 959 received extensive upgrades during restoration. The twin-turbocharged flat-six now produces 850 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque, and the car also benefits from new 18-inch hollow-spoke wheels developed by Canepa, upgraded electronics, lighting, suspension, sound system, and a fully bespoke interior. Together, these two reveals highlight Canepa’s ongoing effort to reengineer some of the most significant Porsche performance cars for modern driving while preserving their place in automotive history. Canepa Prepares To Unveil Carrera GT SC At Amelia Island

Canepa Prepares To Unveil Carrera GT SC At Amelia Island

The lawns of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance are already filling out with some of the most significant automobiles in the world. Alongside the major auction activity from Broad Arrow and Gooding heading into the weekend, another moment is drawing attention. California-based specialist Canepa is preparing to unveil its first Porsche Carrera GT SC (Sport Canepa). While Canepa has not released full technical specifications or production numbers just yet, early images on Instagram reveal several notable details, like a dark green exterior paired with an ivory interior. Body color badges replace the traditional chrome pieces, while carbon fiber rollover hoops add a modern touch. Inside, the beach wood shifter has been retained. Beyond the cosmetic upgrades, expect an extensive range of performance upgrades.  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Canepa Collector Cars (@canepacollectorcars)   The Scotts Valley establishment, after all, has spent decades reengineering and restoring some of Porsche’s most iconic cars. The shop’s portfolio includes highly regarded reengineering programs for the Porsche 959 SC, limited to just 50 examples, as well as meticulous restorations of motorsport icons such as the Porsche 917. Each project focuses on improving performance and drivability while preserving the mechanical character that made these cars legendary in the first place. The Carrera GT is the latest to join that lineage. Produced in Leipzig between 2003 and 2006, only 1,270 examples left the factory in Germany. With its howling naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V10 that puts out more than 600 horsepower and a six-speed manual transmission, the Porsche halo car is widely regarded as one of the most analog supercars of all time. This project comes at a moment of renewed interest in the Carrera GT itself, with Porsche itself also revisiting the platform recently with a Factory Re Commissioned example finished in the iconic red Salzburg livery, revealed in December last year. Last year, the CGT celebrated 25 years since its first reveal in Paris. It was marked with one of the single largest collections of Carrera GTs at the recently held Icons of Porsche in Dubai. It comes as no surprise, then, that interest in the Carrera GT has been steadily building in the collector market. Earlier this year, a low-mileage Carrera GT achieved $3,085,000 at RM Sotheby’s Arizona sale, establishing a new model auction record. With only 1,270 examples produced between 2003 and 2006 at Porsche’s Leipzig facility, the V10-powered supercar has quietly become one of the most desirable analog performance cars of the modern era. As Amelia unfolds through the weekend, Canepa’s reinterpretation suggests that the Carrera GT story is far from over. Watch this space. View Canepa Inventory Images: @canepacollectorcars

NOVITEC Unlocks 868 HP From Ferrari’s V12 Daytona SP3

By Khris Bharath –  February 17, 2026

NOVITEC Unlocks 868 HP From Ferrari’s V12 Daytona SP3

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 already sits at the very top of Maranello’s modern hierarchy. Part of the Italian marque's revered 'Icona Series', and limited to just 599 examples, it pairs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with a design that references Ferrari’s 1960s sports prototypes, making it one of the most highly desirable modern-day hypercars. German tuner Novitec has decided to further up the ante with some subtle visual and performance upgrades. One of the key-highlights includes a custom high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts that reduces back pressure and improves gas flow from the 6.5-liter twelve-cylinder powerplant. The result is a 28-horsepower increase, lifting total output to 868 horsepower, over the standard car's 840-horsepower. The system is thermally insulated to reduce heat accumulation in the engine bay, which in turn supports more consistent power delivery under sustained load. For those seeking maximum heat dissipation, NOVITEC will also offer 999 fine gold plating across the exhaust components. The stock exhaust tips have been retained, preserving the original rear aesthetic. The company pairs this hardware with electronically controlled sound management. From the cockpit, the driver can adjust the exhaust note from restrained to fully open. With the flaps deployed, the V12 hardens into a sharper, higher frequency tone. The stealthy satin gray finish seen here offers an alternative perspective to appreciate the Daytona SP3’s dramatic 1960s-inspired bodywork, a form that pays homage to the Ferrari 330 P3/4, Ferrari 412 P, and Ferrari 350 Can-Am. White contrasting center stripes and an accented engine cover sharpen the visual contrast. <- Gallery -> NOVITEC also collaborated with Vossen in the United States to engineer forged wheels specifically for the SP3’s proportions. In this configuration, black finish five-spoke center lock wheels feature yellow centers color-matched to the Ferrari shield, a direct reference to Ferrari’s 1967 1-2-3 finish at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Inside, NOVITEC reworks leather and Alcantara to individual specification, tailoring trim, stitching, and color to each commission. Most notably, NOVITEC’s upgrades respect the factory’s engineering and philosophy while extracting more intensity from an already historically significant platform, all without compromising the elements that make the Daytona SP3 so special in the first place. 1-of-1 MANSORY Carbonado X Pushes the Lamborghini Revuelto to 1,120 HP

By Khris Bharath –  February 16, 2026

1-of-1 MANSORY Carbonado X Pushes the Lamborghini Revuelto to 1,120 HP

As hypercars took center stage at the 9th edition of the annual Miami Concours this past weekend, another one-of-one hypercar was unveiled across the world in Dubai. This is the MANSORY Carbonado X, a dedicated Atelier commission based on the Lamborghini Revuelto. The Carbonado name has historically defined MANSORY’s most extreme Lamborghini-based builds, and this latest iteration continues that trend, coming hot on the heels of another Revuelto-based build for the Dubai police.  The highlight of any Carbonado build is, without a doubt, the exterior, featuring a raw-carbon finish on the extreme bodywork. However, functionality is tied to the visual drama as Mansory forms and cures each component in its own autoclaves.  The front apron and hood are newly developed to further improve airflow and cooling beyond factory specifications, while redesigned side sills integrate larger air intakes and air deflectors to further support heat management for the mid-mounted V12. A roof scoop introduces additional cooling not found on the standard car, with the rear seeing an aggressively engineered diffuser and a massive wing. <- Gallery -> Wheel and tire specifications also diverge from factory fitment, with MANSORY equipping the Carbonado X with functional FV.10 Carbon forged wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear, wrapped in 265/30 ZR21 and 355/25 ZR22 high-performance tires.  Inside, the cabin moves away from Lamborghini’s standard trim combinations and adopts a full dark Alcantara specification with turquoise accents, complemented by backlit door panels and illuminated MANSORY logos, further highlighting this bespoke Atelier execution. As for performance, the standard Revuelto already packs a combined 1,001 horsepower from its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 and three electric motors. The Carbonado X ups the ante with 1,120 combined horsepower. The combustion powerplant on its own, putting out 930 horsepower and 564 pound-feet of torque, compared to 825 horsepower and 535 pound-feet in standard form. 60 mph takes just 2.3 seconds, and top speed sits at 221 mph. A custom exhaust unit with three pipes, housed within a hexagonal element, sounds the part, and you’ll definitely hear the carbonado X coming before you see it. Last year, we got an up-close look at the all-carbon Aventador-based Carbonado EVO during an exclusive interview with founder Kourosh Mansory, the cover story in duPont REGISTRY’s December 2025 issue (No.487). The Carbonado X advances that formula within the latest hybrid V12 platform. For clients in the United States, Limited Spec Automotive serves as the exclusive MANSORY USA dealer.
