By Tyler Rampersaud –  May 20, 2026

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa Takes On Balocco

The Alfa Romeo Giulia has been the brand’s luxurious, stylish sports sedan for just over a decade, but recently, the introduction of the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa has given the model an ultra-exclusive, high-performance twist. The first product to emerge from Alfa Romeo’s partnership with Luna Rossa, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa is limited to 10 units worldwide and is the most extreme Quadrifoglio Alfa Romeo yet. Its 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine boasts an impressive 520 horsepower, and with aggressive aerodynamics and a unique design, the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa not only has a distinctive look but also track-ready potential. To prove that, Alfa Romeo has just completed testing of the sold-out 1-of-10 Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa at its Balocco Proving Grounds. Since 1962, the manufacturer has developed, perfected, and trialed its high-performance models at the iconic racing venue. Part of the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE lineup, the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa features a unique body kit and the extensive use of carbon fiber, and the track testing validated the car’s ability to deliver impressive amounts of downforce (140 kg at 186 mph), while still remaining highly aerodynamically efficient. Compared to the standard version of the car, the Luna Rossa generates up to five times more downforce. <- Gallery -> Combining ultra-exclusive production numbers with bespoke design and luxurious, considered materials, the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa is a collector-grade masterpiece of Italian automotive craftsmanship. However, it’s also a track-ready high-performance weapon with its 520 horsepower, and a body kit that further enhances its on-track performance, and its time at the Balocco proving grounds confirms that. Alfa Romeo Celebrates Two 33 Stradale Deliveries

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is a tribute to a retro supercar legend, one of the greatest creations in Alfa Romeo’s long and storied history as one of the most important Italian automotive manufacturers. With only 33 examples set to be made, the new 33 Stradale combines striking design with impressive performance and rich legacy. Two examples of the 33 Stradale were recently delivered, nearly simultaneously. One was in Austin, Texas, and the other was delivered to the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Italy. The example in Austin, Texas, was delivered to collector Glynn Bloomquist, whose automotive enthusiasm comes from growing up around muscle cars, American racing, IndyCar, and more. Other Alfa Romeo cars in his collection include a 1958 Giulietta Spider Veloce owned formerly by Bobby Rahal, and a Giulia Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversary edition. Bloomquist’s 33 Stradale is finished in Rosso Villa d’Este with a horizontal white band on the front, referencing the ‘60s Tipo 33 race car, along with special leather upholstery for the interior. Inspired by lived-in furniture, it features rich color and embossing. Bloomquist says the car is set to take on roads and tracks in Texas with its performance-oriented power. <- Gallery -> Meanwhile, the first 33 Stradale delivery to take place at Arese, Italy’s Alfa Romeo Museum, also took place. It’s finished in a bespoke color to highlight the BOTTEGAFUORISERIE program, combining aspects of different shades of red used throughout Alfa Romeo’s history. The car is set to remain on display in the museum until June 2, and both the example in Italy and the car in Texas showcase two interpretations of Alfa Romeo’s flagship supercar excellence that are different in their configuration but similar in their celebration of automotive history. Alfa Romeo Celebrates The 60th Anniversary Of the “Duetto” Spider

By Tyler Rampersaud –  April 22, 2026

Alfa Romeo Spider “Duetto” Celebrates 60 Years

The 1966 Geneva Motor Show saw the introduction of the Alfa Romeo 1600 Spider, which would go on to be known as the “Duetto,” and it would end up being produced for 28 years until 1994, with four series and a total of 124,000 units sold by the end of its iconic production run. 60 years have passed since the Duetto was brought to the scene, and its status as a global automotive icon of charm, fun driving, and Italian excellence has refused to fade. The Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Italy, recently held a gathering that celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Duetto, and the hundreds of fans in attendance helped cement the car’s icon status. It stands as the longest-lived and most popular Alfa Romeo ever, and the event saw each of the four generations of the car uniquely highlighted in a new “Spider is Alfa Romeo” exhibition at the museum, which will highlight the first generation from April to June, the second from July to August, the third in September and October, and the final restyling will be highlighted until December. In the ‘60s, Pininfarina was given the task of styling a successor to the Giulietta Spider, a model that was particularly popular in the States thanks to its evocation of a “different way of life.” The result was the “Duetto,” a lightweight, rear-wheel drive, fun-to-drive masterpiece. Part of its launch included being cruised on the Rafaello ship from Genoa to New York with a stop in Cannes for the film festival. It instantly became a major success and a pop culture icon, and today, it’s a collector prize that is a major part of the Alfa Romeo Classiche program. The program provides Certificates of Origin, Certificates of Authenticity, and Restoration services for classic Alfa Romeo models like the Spider “Duetto.” As an iconic triumph in Alfa Romeo’s rich history, 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic and ever-charming Spider. Alfa Romeo Maserati BOTTEGAFUORISERIE

By Charles Bradley –  November 04, 2025

Alfa Romeo, Maserati Launch BOTTEGAFUORISERIE: A New Era ...

Italy’s legendary Motor Valley just became even more extraordinary: Alfa Romeo and Maserati – two OEM icons of design, performance, and passion – have united under a new creative banner called BOTTEGAFUORISERIE, a bespoke collaborative hub between these two Italian high-end Stellantis brands to produce personalized vehicles for its customers. Stretching from Modena to Turin and Arese, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE brings together the timeless legacies and forward-looking visions of Alfa Romeo and Maserati. Under the leadership of Cristiano Fiorio, reporting directly to Santo Ficili, Alfa Romeo CEO and Maserati COO, this new venture will serve as the heart of Italy’s expanded Motor Valley, merging innovation, artistry, and heritage into one immersive experience. At its core, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE is a celebration of luxury craftsmanship, a place where every surface, seam, and curve embodies Italian ingenuity. More than a design center, it’s a philosophy – where passion, technology, and artisanal mastery combine to create truly one-of-a-kind automobiles. “This launch is more than the creation of a new initiative – it is the symbol of a new era for Alfa Romeo and Maserati,” said Santo Ficili, Alfa Romeo CEO and Maserati COO. “It represents our unwavering belief in the power of Italian creativity, engineering, and craftsmanship. “I am proud to entrust this mission to Cristiano Fiorio; his exceptional work on projects like the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and our motorsport programmes has demonstrated not only technical mastery but also a deep emotional connection to the soul of our brands. This is the first milestone in a broader transformation that will define the future of both Alfa Romeo and Maserati.” A Hub for Bespoke Italian Mastery BOTTEGAFUORISERIE is structured around four pillars: BOTTEGA, FUORISERIE, Corse, and La Storia – each representing a distinct but interconnected world of luxury craftsmanship. BOTTEGA is where ideas become reality, a workshop for “few-off” custom builds like the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and the Maserati MCXtrema, both examples of extreme engineering and artistry. Each project is hand-built in Italy by elite designers, technicians, and artisans. Every creation is unique, crafted in close synergy with the client, and represents the sartorial heart of Italian automotive design. FUORISERIE, meanwhile, elevates personalization to an art form. The advanced customization program allows owners to transform their vehicles into personal statements of identity and taste. Dedicated design teams guide each customer through color, material, and design innovations – offering an unmatched level of creative freedom that turns every Alfa Romeo and Maserati into a bespoke expression of individuality. Preserving Heritage Through “La Storia” BOTTEGAFUORISERIE also embraces history as a living art. Through La Storia, both brands’ heritage divisions will restore and certify vintage cars, curate museum collections, and preserve archives. Visitors can explore this legacy at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese and the Umberto Panini Maserati Collection in Modena, both central to the initiative’s experiential approach. Every restoration is handled with the precision of haute horlogerie, combining modern technology with old-world craftsmanship. As the brands note, each project becomes “a dialogue between eras,” where the spirit of the original model is preserved while its expressive power is reimagined for the modern age. From Track to Road: Corse The final pillar, Corse, channels Alfa Romeo and Maserati’s racing DNA into innovation. Drawing on motorsport expertise and Italian engineering excellence, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE’s performance center will develop next-generation technologies in aerodynamics, chassis design, and powertrains. Maserati’s recent victories – including its GT2 European Series championship title in the AM Class – stand as proof that performance remains at the heart of every creation. “We are extremely proud to announce this extraordinary joining of forces between two iconic brands,” said Jean-Philippe Imparato, Maserati CEO. “BOTTEGAFUORISERIE represents the meeting point between vision and reality. This is where dreams will be shaped into reality, where the extraordinary becomes tangible.  “Guided by creativity and discipline, each project is the result of rigorous research and unwavering dedication. By combining the finest in Italian design, engineering, and culture, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE embodies a unique approach to shaping the future – one we deeply believe in.” Performance as an Act of Culture Under the patronage of the Altagamma Foundation, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE aligns Italy’s most exclusive creative disciplines under one roof – from coachbuilding to couture-level personalization. “Being entrusted with the leadership of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE is both a profound honor and a thrilling challenge,” said Cristiano Fiorio, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE General Manager. “This is somewhere where past, present, and future converge – where we celebrate our heritage while daring to imagine what’s next. I will draw on the incredible experiences gained through special projects and motorsport to guide this new journey.  “With a team of passionate, talented individuals, we will craft vehicles that are not only technically exceptional but emotionally unforgettable. Our mission is clear: to honor the legacy of Alfa Romeo and Maserati, and to write the next chapter in their history with boldness, beauty, and authenticity. Performance is an act of culture. Creating beauty is a form of art.” A New Benchmark for Italian Luxury BOTTEGAFUORISERIE represents more than a collaboration – it is a manifesto for modern Italian luxury, merging history with innovation and design with emotion. For collectors, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs, it signals a new chapter in the evolution of two of the most storied marques in automotive history – and a renewed commitment to craftsmanship as a living art form.
