Alfa Romeo Reports Growth In H1 2026

Alfa Romeo is known for its stylish and spirited lineup of Italian cars, and this year, the mix has proven successful in several countries, where the manufacturer has reported growth in the first half of 2026. While it’s not sold in the United States, the new Alfa Romeo Junior is proving to be a major contributor to the brand’s global success, alongside the brand’s expansion into new markets and ramped-up activations. Countries where Alfa Romeo experienced growth in the first half of 2026 included the United Kingdom, which grew 24 percent in sales, Japan, which grew an impressive 95 percent, and Mexico, which grew by 90 percent. For the brand, Italy, France, and Germany are still the main markets. The Alfa Romeo Junior, sold in 45 countries, has quickly become the best-selling Alfa Romeo. Available as a BEV and as a hybrid, its BEV mix of 16 percent proves Alfa Romeo’s ability to sell electric vehicles while maintaining its sporty, Italian, driver-focused brand identity. Along with the Junior, the Stelvio, Giulia, and Tonale also contribute significantly to the brand’s recent success. The Giulia and Stelvio are due to remain on sale until 2027, including the high-performance Quadrifoglio variants. <- Gallery -> The ultra-exclusive Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa, with only ten units made, sold out in record time, while Alfa Romeo’s other ultra-exclusive model, the new 33 Stradale supercar, is in the midst of deliveries. Alfa Romeo Reports Global Growth In 2025

Alfa Romeo has been one of the longest-standing names in the automotive industry, and with a reputation for making cars that are beautiful, spirited, and luxurious, its legacy is part of what shaped the landscape of Italian manufacturers that enthusiasts revere today. Today icons like the Giulia and Stelvio anchor Alfa Romeo’s offering of vehicles, while the ultra-exclusive and ultra-rare 33 Stradale serves as a halo supercar offered to a select few, and the Tonale serves as a unique compact SUV. Globally, the Junior is also part of Alfa Romeo’s lineup, a small crossover with both electric and mild-hybrid powertrains. The past year has been a successful one for Alfa Romeo, as the brand is happy to report that 2025 saw sales increase by 20 percent globally compared to 2024, with over 73,000 units sold worldwide. That growth is most significantly represented by Europe, where sales increased by 31.1 percent, including growth of over 80 percent in the UK, and an increased market share in the brand’s home country of Italy. Regarding global growth, the Junior is the leader for Alfa Romeo, with over 60,000 orders placed since its launch, with the Tonale coming in second place. Meanwhile, the Giulia and the Stelvio are confirmed to stay in Alfa Romeo’s lineup until 2027, with an 11-percent Quadrifoglio mix in 2025, the highest since launch. The 33 Stradale, representing Alfa Romeo’s ultimate exclusive supercar in the modern era, is on track with its delivery schedule as five examples are on the road since the model launched at the end of 2024. With success in 2025, Alfa Romeo looks towards 2026 as a year to continue building its legacy as one of the defining and foundational names in Italian automotive excellence.
