Alfa Romeo Grew Over 20% Globally In 2025

The legendary Italian manufacturer comes away from 2025 successful.

Alfa Romeo has been one of the longest-standing names in the automotive industry, and with a reputation for making cars that are beautiful, spirited, and luxurious, its legacy is part of what shaped the landscape of Italian manufacturers that enthusiasts revere today. Today icons like the Giulia and Stelvio anchor Alfa Romeo’s offering of vehicles, while the ultra-exclusive and ultra-rare 33 Stradale serves as a halo supercar offered to a select few, and the Tonale serves as a unique compact SUV. Globally, the Junior is also part of Alfa Romeo’s lineup, a small crossover with both electric and mild-hybrid powertrains.

The past year has been a successful one for Alfa Romeo, as the brand is happy to report that 2025 saw sales increase by 20 percent globally compared to 2024, with over 73,000 units sold worldwide. That growth is most significantly represented by Europe, where sales increased by 31.1 percent, including growth of over 80 percent in the UK, and an increased market share in the brand’s home country of Italy.

Regarding global growth, the Junior is the leader for Alfa Romeo, with over 60,000 orders placed since its launch, with the Tonale coming in second place. Meanwhile, the Giulia and the Stelvio are confirmed to stay in Alfa Romeo’s lineup until 2027, with an 11-percent Quadrifoglio mix in 2025, the highest since launch.

The 33 Stradale, representing Alfa Romeo’s ultimate exclusive supercar in the modern era, is on track with its delivery schedule as five examples are on the road since the model launched at the end of 2024. With success in 2025, Alfa Romeo looks towards 2026 as a year to continue building its legacy as one of the defining and foundational names in Italian automotive excellence.
