Mercedes-AMG E63 S Updated for 2021
Last month we introduced you to the new Mercedes-AMG E53 for sale. It utilizes a turbocharged straight-six along with a 48-volt hybrid system to offer power and efficiency. While the base model E-Class coupes and sedans will retain four-cylinder power, the twin-turbo V8 has been treated to a snazzy new outfit. The Mercedes-Benz E63 S updates for 2021 include unique exterior styling along with a new interior. Instead of adding AMG badges to the E-Class sedan, the only parts they share are the door handles and roof panel. Everything from the intakes to the rear diffuser is new and optimized for outright performance. Inside we are treated to the widescreen instrument cluster first seen on the S-Class. It includes a multi-function steering wheel, MBUX infotainment system, and the AMG-specific performance menu. This offers all engine data, warm up alerts, lap timer, G-meter, and telemetry. In Supersport mode, both 12.3" screens are limited to a central tachomemter, hiding non-essential data to keep your eyes on the road. What has not changed is the powerhouse under the hood. With 603 horsepower on tap, you will reach 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. The 4MATIC+ system sends 627 lb-ft of torque to all wheels when needed, or solely to the electronic rear differential in Drift mode. Perhaps the best feature is "Gliding". Much like the flywheel on a bicycle, the transmission disconnects the car from the road when coasting. Not only does this save fuel, it feels fun once gravity takes over. Each corner has triple-chamber air suspension for the ultimate in ride comfort and handling. Our only wish is for the E63 S wagon to return to the U.S. It will only happen if you demand it from your local dealer, so click the button below and stay with us for all your Mercedes-AMG news. 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet Offers AirScarf & Ai...
Attention to detail is what makes the E-Class Coupe & Convertible a sensible choice. Our Sales Manager had the previous generation for 5 years, and it was among the best convertibles I have experienced. The only way it could have been better is more control of cockpit air. That is why two ingenious systems have been added to the new model. The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet will arrive win AirScarf and AirCap. Top 50 Best Exotic Cars & Supercars of All Time I first encountered AirScarf on Mr. duPont's 2012 SLS AMG Roadster. Perfect for cool weather cruising, the seats force warm air down your back and around your head. It is computer-controlled based on speed until 75 mph when it goes full blast. The icing on the cake is the new AirCap. Consisting of a windshield deflector and a partition behind the cockpit, it creates a high-pressure bubble of hot or cold air that prevents turbulence. Not only does this reduce drag at highway speeds, but it will also cut down on wind noise so you can relax with your significant others. Browse Mercedes-Benz E-Class For Sale

Mercedes-AMG Unveils the 53-Series CLS & E-Class
More much of their history, AMG only built powerful V8 versions of Mercedes-Benz cars. They proved to be so stunning that the aftermarket shop was brought in-house. Recently you might have noticed the AMG 43 series cars on the world's best site for exotic cars for sale. The 43 Series consists of a twin-turbo V6 rated close to 400 horsepower with 380 ish torque, depending on the application. Forced induction and smaller engines are all the rage because you get V8 power with small displacement. Many countries tax drivers based on engine size, but even the best V6 will suffer from slight turbo lag until boost is made.CLS53 Mega Gallery So Mercedes-AMG is taking a page from the past. The new 53-series is based on an inline, or straight 6 engine. Instead of twin turbos, the future has arrived. One turbocharger is augmented by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. The electric-powered kompressor can add 21 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque for a total of 429 hp and 384 lb-ft for both the new CLS53 and E 53 models. It also has the ability to provide energy when cruising, allowing the fuel injectors to run at idle. Two Hypercars Bought With BitcoinInitially available on the 2019 CLS 53 and the E-Class coupe & cabrios, rumors about it will become the new base model engine in the S-Class and others. Combined system output is 429 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque, and it is sent to a 9-speed automatic. This power and transmission allows for a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds in the CLS53 and E 53 Cabriolet, and 4.3 seconds in the E53 Coupe. One final benefit is that straight six engines have one of the best exhaust sounds in automotive history, so get ready for a straight-pipe symphony. Mercedes-AMG Unveils New E63 S Wagon
You knew it was going to happen. The mad scientists at AMG have stuffed their twin turbo V8 into the new E-Class wagon. The new E63 S wagon uses the 4.0 liter V8 found in other AMG models to offer 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. Six times the power of a 1.0-liter Focus is sent through a nine-speed multi-clutch transmission to a revised 4MATIC+ AWD system. It allows 60 mph to arrive in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph (limited electronically). The twin-scroll turbochargers spool up quickly, offering maximum torque from 2,500 to 4,500 rpm.(Mercedes-Benz Unveils AMG GT C Edition 50)In an attempt to harness such power, 4MATIC now has an electronic center differential and a locking rear. The body is 1.1-inches wider, which brings cargo space up to 35 cubic feet. A new air ride system has triple chambers which offer lightning quick changes to ride height along with improved camber control. Front brake rotors are 15.4" and 1.4" thick. The power steering is electric, with a variable ratio to offer proper feedback. A new Drive Pilot mode uses hands-free steering control along with intelligent cruise control to drive itself in bumper to bumper traffic jams. Handing over that much power to a computer sounds like Skynet, but we will know all the details after the formal launch at the Geneva Motor Show.
