Over the years, charity vehicles have carved out a special place in the auction world, delivering seriously impressive results while raising awareness and supporting some of the world’s most important causes. Manufacturers often reserve the first and last chassis to help drive attention in the auction room, giving buyers something special to tuck away in their collections. The automotive world recently witnessed this during Monterey Car Week, when Ferrari’s Luce “Chassis 0” sold for $40 million to a familiar billionaire buyer, with proceeds benefiting The Ferrari Foundation. Toyota is showing its philanthropic side after recently announcing the donation of its last GR Supra MkV Final Edition to support Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW) disaster relief efforts.
Barrett-Jackson and Toyota North America have partnered to auction off the last-ever GR Supra MkV Final Edition at the 2027 Scottsdale Auction at WestWorld of Scottsdale. When it crosses the block in January, collectors will be bidding on a piece of JDM history, with every dollar of the hammer price going to Reach Out WorldWide. Founded by the late Paul Walker, the organization sends volunteer first responders into disaster zones worldwide.
The 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition packs 382 horsepower and a six-speed manual transmission, while its one-of-one Phantom Gray finish, GT4-inspired aero package, carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler, and upgraded Brembo brakes separate it from any other GR Supra. There’s also a commemorative VIN ending in “99999” and a signature from Toyota chairman and former CEO Akio “Morizo” Toyoda. A one-year NASA membership and HPDE (High Performance Driving Event) add another incentive to actually put some miles on it after the sale.
The charity auction also brings the GR Supra story full circle. Barrett-Jackson sold the first global-production MkV Supra for $2.1 million in 2019, with proceeds benefiting the Bob Woodruff Foundation. Now, the final MkV production car is being offered for ROWW, cementing the story of the fifth-generation Supra’s auction history. Before January’s sale, enthusiasts can get a closer look at the car during the Barrett-Jackson 2026 Las Vegas Auction, Sept. 10-12. The Barrett-Jackson 2027 Scottsdale Auction is set to take place from January 23rd to 31st.
